I was reluctant to leave this review. I don’t normally leave any, though I do read them. Years ago, I was told that the founder of Jimmy John’s is a big-game hunter, so I’ve never spent any of my hard-earned dough at a Jimmy John’s location. This may not even be true, or maybe it’s changed, but it’s ssooo much clicking to find out..
Anyway, I was at this location over the summer. I was in town, there were family members, we ended up here. The food was excellent. The condition of the store was excellent. The staff was excellent with a shout out to James. James took care of every part of our order was professional, courteous, funny.. – however, I understand that James is no longer employed here. They probably have other employees that are almost as good.

Great first time experience. Sara and Isabel greeted me coming in. They helped me with finding an item on the menu, built my sandwich, and were extremely nice the entire interaction. The place was very clean and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Would recommend!

Ehhhh, I did a curbside order here. I am a devoted customer of Jimmy John’s. First time at this location, don’t think I’ll be back. Food was very sloppy made, and veggies were definitely past their due date.

I order 2 giant #13 and the one piece on meat on it I was so thin I could see through it. I order these all the time from a different location and I have never received one like this. This location is a ripoff!!!!

I really hate to rate this different then what I had. I had a 5 over all. I walked in and was treated like a number ( freaky fast). I had my order ready and couldn’t hear what the young man said. He was working fast and blew me of to a young lady. No worries, I told her what I wanted and paid. I didn’t tip because I was going to give 10$ a piece cash ( my bill was 15$ there was three working) she seen I didn’t tip. She tossed my food on the counter. I asked for a bag, she turned her back to me and walked away, and said you can bag it yourself. This was today 11/17/23 around 12:50. So then I went to Subway. Had them make me the same subs, did not tip. They bagged my subs and said thank you. So I thanked them and I tipped two employees 10 $ apiece. Looks like I saved 10$ on a tip for customer service. Still had to pay 15$ for extra subs I didn’t need. But I know where I will stop on my way home next time.

I don’t even know why I stop in here anymore. It’s less than a mile from my house and is convenient, but the food is terrible and the order is wrong EVERY time. I always order an unwich with extra meat and get charged for that. Never fails – no extra meat – but this time my unwich was the side of the palm of my hand! This place is so disappointing. I grew up near the beck and Pontiac trail location and those people would die if they saw how the Union lake location was run. The employees are lazy, preoccupied, and they make terrible sandwiches and don’t listen to what customers want. The kid had my sandwich made before I could even complete my order – so he probably didn’t even hear that I said extra anything. I wish I could have the money I’ve spent here back, but I’ll just never return after this. All they are concerned with is getting you out of the store from the second you walk in. Huge disappointment to the JJ franchise. This location needs someone to come retrain everyone and teach some serious customer service, which starts with listening.

Placed my simple order (1 combo meal) at 11:45 AM for delivery. Took 30 minutes before my order was “Out for Delivery”. It is now 12:45 pm and still no food. 60+ minutes is anything BUT freaky fast for a shop 5 minutes away. Hoping to eat soon but I won’t hold my breath.
Update: After 70+ minutes of waiting I called the store and as told the driver left over 30 minutes ago so it should arrive soon. No apology. I have literally wasted over half my lunch hour waiting at the front door for the delivery and still nothing.
Update 2: Food finally arrived after 95 minutes and my Bootlegger Unwhich, which should have twice the amount of meat has 2 pieces of roast beef and 2 sliced of turkey. Seriously?
I will NEVER order from a Jimmy John’s again.

No idea why this JJ is rated so low. Solid 4/5. They’re usually completely up to par. I only had an issue once or twice with slow or unavailable delivery due to a driver who called off.

Ordered a curbside pick up order because I had kids with me. Waited over 20 minutes after checking in while also watching other people go in and out of the shop, and no one ever brought the order out. When I went inside and told the girl I had a curbside order, she asked me what she could get me as if I was coming into the store to place an order. Only then did she take her AirPods out and asked for the name on the order. It was sitting on the back counter with no drinks along with 3 other orders when the store was completely empty. Not to mention, both sandwiches were basically nothing but lettuce.
