Eat here probably atleast 4 times a month. Good food, friendly staff and fast service. Only complaint is don’t plan on being on your phone inside the music is always loud. I measured 75-80 decimals through 3 songs.

Its not up to par compared to other JJs. Usually at least 1 manager on the is a pro and moves stuff along. Everyone here is slow and can’t walk and chew gum at the same time. Franchise owner needs to get on the line and actually HELP!

The employees were not friendly at all. While having my order taken I was being stared at like I was bothering her.

They are all on their phones and too worried about the gossip to greet you or say thank you have a nice day.

I came up to buy a brownie after my meal for my son. I waited behind another customer having issues with a gift card. There was one worker standing at the counter typing away on her cell phone. She looked up at me and went back to typing away. When I got to the register and ordered the other worker told me the total and went back to her conversation she was having with one of the other girls. When my card transaction was approved I didn’t get a thank you or anything she didn’t ever stop her conversation to acknowledge the payment was complete.

Then the worker was sitting on the counter on her phone. For the amount of money you pay for food you would think they would pay a little more attention to the cash paying customer instead of their phones and drama conversations.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. While at the restaurant, the following happen:
– the people who ordered before us were given incorrect food, twice. The workers and manager refused to speak with them and threatened to call the cops on them when they tried to express they didn’t receive what they were supposed to.
– we were given incorrect items. We ordered a #4, add cheese, and a slim #5. We were given a little #4 and a little #5. It was clear they input the order incorrectly (we were not offered a receipt to confirm it was correct prior to being made). We told them it was incorrect, they took the wrong sandwiches back, then would not acknowledge us anymore to remake our sandwiches.
– the three other people with us never received their orders, or acknowledgment from the workers. We ended up leaving because the workers would not talk to anybody.
– I heard the manager tell another employee “I am not talking to her”, referencing the people before us who were trying to get their order corrected. He also had ear buds in, appeared to be on the phone, in what sounded like a personal conversation.
– at one point a worker answered the phone, said “we are slammed right now and can’t talk to you” and hung up.

To anyone looking for Jimmy John’s, do NOT go to this location. There is another one on Emerson Ave, less than 10 minutes away. We ended up going there to reorder our food and were given great service. They explained their recommendation to file complaints and expressed sympathy for our experience. I also confirmed they are owned by a different owner because we did not want any more money to go to the owner of the Southport store.

If the owner of the store reads this: do better. All employees working on the night of 5/24/2025 need severely reprimanded, put on probation (or fired), and the manager should be stripped of his responsibilities. This was unacceptable. To threaten to call the cops on customers whose order was repeatedly done incorrectly and refuse to acknowledge the others is the antithesis of how to run a business.

I came in yesterday to pickup lunch as I usually do and was very disappointed with my usual order. The sandwich was smooshed, had barely any meat, and was 2.5 inches too small. I chatted with someone yesterday who said I would be contacted and I never was.

LOVE THIS STORE SO MUCH!!! Doesn’t matter what time I call/order online or stop in, ALL of the staff are friendly, fast and accommodating to any modifications I ask for. Mylee is the most friendly and smiling person I have ever met. She always has a smile on her face and seems eager to help. The other staff, Noland, Emma, Nick and several others are always nice and make the store the perfect stop for family dinner/a quick lunch or just a quiet meal to myself! Keep up the great work!!!

Had a horrible experience here which is unlike other JJ locations I’ve experienced. The workers were rude to another customer after they messed up their sandwiches multiple times and the customer was showing patience and was not rude at all until the workers were being rude to her. When the customer asked to speak to the manager, the manager would not say anything or speak to the said customer. Even had said “I am not talking to her.” To the other worker. They would not come to the register to help customers and three customers in the store left after the service was taking too long. We didn’t even get our order because they were taking too long and were more focused on getting takeout orders rather than the customers in the store. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a fast food restaurant. I would recommend going to the other Jimmy John’s right up the road on Emerson. Way better service there.

We were given little versions of our sandwiches instead of regular. The order was put in incorrectly. We weren’t given a receipt. The workers refused to speak to us after we said we did not receive the correct sandwiches. The customers ahead of us also got the incorrect sandwiches and they would not fix the mistake. We ended up leaving without our food (even though we paid for it) because they would not speak to us or correct our order. We went to the Jimmy John’s on Emerson instead and they were amazing.

Great store! Everybody was friendly! Greeted us as we walked in. The cashier that took our order, I think her name was Mylee, was the sweetest thing ever! I have a lot of customizations and they made it perfectly. Everything was fresh. Store was clean. 10/10 reccomend and will be back!
