We stopped here for lunch after a lovely morning of boating. What a great place. Casual and fun. We ate on the open patio on the water, but they also have a roomy inside dining area. We loved our food. We had a Mahi sandwich, coconut shrimp, Guava bowl, and chicken with crabmeat special. Everything was amazing. Their fries are fabulous. Our waiter was helpful and fun. I had a dark cherry margarita that was so yummy. Highly recommended.

This fantastic restaurant sits between a holiday inn and a water park, which if you stay at either makes your stay that much better. They have a very good menu, serving breakfast until 11 followed by lunch/dinner. During my vacay we ate here probably 6 times. There are some real treats on the menu, like the hand made giant iguana shaped baked pretzel w/ beer cheese. Or the Tower app sampler. All the seafood I ate I thoroughly enjoyed. The burgers were outstanding. They have outside and inside seating, do yourself a solid if you in the Indian Rocks Area and check this place out.

We have been to Jimmy Iquana in past years and it has always been good. This year however it has been aweful. Went there 2 nights ago and the hostess said she was told not to seat anyone for a hour and when that happened if we got served it would be at least one hour before we got food because they were short on kitchen and wait staff. We decided to go elsewhere.
Tried to go there again tonight. The service was poor. It took forever to get our food and one meal was overcooked/overfried and the other was cold. Soup also came that was not hot but room temp. It was the worse serve and food we had in the 3 weeks we have been in Florida. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Buffalo dip score

One bite burger score
6.7

Not the best burger score I gave but it’s an honest review. It looked like the burger was char boiled and not fresh hand made burger. Definitely not worth the 12 dollar price.especially when fries are not included only coleslaw what restaurant does that?Nothing really special you are pretty much paying for scenery. The baffalo dip was good (house made) but why top the dip with that cheap thick cheese you can’t scoop on a chip. I would change that but not my restaurant or recipe. My professional reviews are strictly on the side of the consumer. Regardless of the food, the drinks were top tier This place is definitely in alcohol tropical theme and food quality ingredients are second to them. This is not a negative review just the food, but with the hotel the atmosphere And splash Harbor my return to this restaurant is highly likely no food this time only drinks.

Great atmosphere and really good food! A bit pricey when it all adds up, but it’s priced right for the area and live music every night. I forgot to take pictures of our food, but got the deserts, which were all really tasty!

So this is a after the tourists go home and for those who live here or snow bird here. The crowd is just plain nice people, the servers and bar tender a great people , the food is really good and the food is wonderful..negative reviews tourist go elsewhere! Btw Troy is the bomb!. Honest one of the best Cubans in the area and the mussels are some of the freshest I’ve ever had. Just a honestly good place. If you want cheap bland tourist food and drink go elsewhere but if you want a nice place with good food and great drinks come here!

I don’t normally post things like this, but I feel a responsibility to share what happened.

I came to this place on July 4th with my family, I bit into a blade (yes, a literal blade) in my food. Luckily when I bit in my teeth touched it first and I thought it was a toothpick, but when I pulled it out it definitely was not. I showed it to the staff right away. How does a 4-5 inch blade end up in a chicken Cesar wrap?!?

They apologized, but it didn’t feel genuine. Wanted me to sign an incident report. The chef came out and said it was a peace of the tomato slicer. They brought the bill out to the others at my table, and honestly just wanted us out of there quickly. No real accountability or effort to make it right. AND I left hungry.

This wasn’t just bad service — it was a serious safety hazard. The blade itself was rusty and the chef came out to let me know it was a part of the tomato slicer. Kinda scary that’s in their kitchen.

Called ahead as we had a party of 10 was informed no reservations. Sat inside and service was awful. Restaurant not the busy. Arrived at 5pm on a Sunday evening. Waited 43 minutes for drinks, did not get food until almost 630pm, food was cold. Tables that arrived after us had eaten and left before we got our food. Will not ever go back.

Once we were seated we were told they only had a limited menu. We had chosen this place by what we saw on their online menu. The waitress was not very friendly when taking our order. Waited over 30 minutes for our food. The grilled chicken was extra salty. A burger was well done rather than medium. A couple of items were requested to have tomatoes or pickles left off. That didn’t happen. We had invited friends to go there with us. Very embarrassed by the experience.
