Jimmy Geez was and always will be my favorite family oriented food/drink establishment. The owners and the whole crew from the bar tenders,kitchen crew and management always never seems to surprise me with the quality/consistency of their food and mixed drinks and I felt obligated to give a shout out and show off my pit stop lunch on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. Asked the chef to make an off menu specialty requested grilled chicken with there home made mashed potatoes with gravy! I’m a happy customer like usual always a pleasure to see Sam and a nice Tito’s club and splash of cran to wash it down! Thankyou JimmyGeez!

The fried pickles are a must-try, perfectly crispy and tangy, served with a delicious dipping sauce. We went last night (6 of us) server was ok a bit abrupt but got better as he went.Food for us was good.My issue came with a to go order that my son texted to me.I ordered a Geez burger and Buffalo wings was told they don’t make the Geez burger anymore but could do substitute that was close.No problem I said that’s fine.Got the bill and it had 2 charges for the burger that I questioned.Server said one was added because of making it a 1lb instead of 1/2 lb. Ok no problem I get it.So total for that burger $24 and change.Get home and that price didn’t sit well so I checked online menu…Geez Burger still on menu and the price $18.50..So not sure but I think they need to get glasses and maybe take a math class.Well I didn’t tip on the to go order but he got the extra from the overpriced burger so I guess we’re even.Check your bill carefully !!

This was probably the fifth time walking in and getting not even a high from the bartender. Then when I was ready to order, all I got was “u ready”.
I normally don’t do this as I am a business owner myself, I’ve owned over 10 different restaurants across the country.
But I do want the owner to know as he probably has no idea of this, and I surely would want To know if I was the owner of an establishment.
The atmosphere is hands-down amazing. Top notch, phenomenal. Nothing at all bad to say about it. The beer, they have everything you want literally the best on tap. It is and will always be my favorite spot to stop At on the way to the mountains.
However, this is the fifth time I’ve waited over 35 minutes for a sandwich. Without even the slightest self-awareness from the bartenders. I get it, there’s a lot going on. However, for a bartender, not realize that it’s taken more than 15 minutes for a sandwich is neglect of an establishment.
The only person that will care as much as the owner does about establishments or any, for that matter is the Owner himself. Which is why I am recommending the staff be taught how to communicate with the customers regarding their food. This is not the first time I waited almost 40 minutes for something very simple.
This is in fact and super easy fix, I will 1000% be back in, I love everything about it. I’m not afraid to say I’m a republican and that’s my kind of bar. I am also a businessman as well and I’ve done a lot.
The worst thing you can do in the restaurant industry is not let the customers know what’s going on. It’s much easier to ignore the situation at hand, hoping it go away. However, that’s never used the case.
Anyway, I love Jimmy G’s. It is by far my most favorite establishment and I will continue to go however, if I’m crunched for time and have let’s say 45 minutes to stop and eat. Unfortunately, I may go somewhere else due to knowing that they do take a little bit with simple food.
I do hope it gets better because the food is actually phenomenal as well.

Their B&B sauce goes crazy…. Great food, drinks, and usually good service too. Feels a little Trumpy in there though just fyi… if you don’t feel safe in homogenous, Alabama-like communities then go to their Haledon location.

At $2 a wing I was shocked but said to myself, you know I’m sure a place like this justifies a premium price on wings, they are probably pretty dang good…. Boy was I wrong! Lmao I’m still chewing the rubber I bit into as I’m writing this review. If I bit into my sons little tikes toy kitchen plastic drum stick it would be better then whatever this fatty cheap garbage wing they served me here! I wouldn’t come here if you are hungry for wings. They can keep the other 19 wings I’m not going to chew on. They might as well sell it as Buffalo bubble gum as it closer to chewing gum then an enjoyable wing lol

Jimmys North is now a Wednesday night staple in my family. They have 1/2 price wings and a variety of beers to choose from and they always have great music bumping. There pizza is really good too super thin & delicious.
