I tried their ‘Pulled Pork’, which is a slow cooked BBQ shredded pork sandwich with slaw and their house made BBQ sauce accompanied by a ‘Blackberry Mojito’. The sandwich and fries were a bit too salty for my taste, but everything was very satisfying.
The restaurant is clean and organized with a nice bar area and plenty of TVs throughout, showing any sports games at the time. The restroom was also clean during our visit.
Service was amazing. Shout out to our server, ‘Liz’, who was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu.
Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely return.
We waited about ten minutes without any acknowledgment from the waitstaff. A group came in after us, seated themselves just like we did, and within a few minutes a waiter was at their table taking their drink and food orders. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there — now about 15 minutes in — with no greeting, no water, no check-in of any kind.
It was happy hour, but we weren’t there for the discounts. We were actually ready to order full-price burgers because we’d heard great things about them. Unfortunately, we never even got the chance to find out if the food lived up to the hype. We got up to leave and passed by the hostess to tell her about the situation. She just shrugged her shoulders — no apology, no concern, and no effort to correct the situation.
Overall, really DISAPPOINTING service for what could have been a nice early dinner. Hopefully management takes note, because first impressions matter — and ours wasn’t great.
Everything we have tried is quite good. My favorite is the Greek chicken strips. It’s a lovely sliced chicken breast with feta cheese, served over French fries. Come on! You can’t beat that!
They have Happy Hr EVERY day 3-6pm!
Try the Loaded Tots or Nachos Grande.
If you want something a bit healthier, the brussel sprouts with a honey glazed balsamic is really tasty. The portions are big enough to share.
Even though we live near the ocean, most fish and chips is Morton’s. Boring and salty.
Not Jimmy E’s fried fish. Batter was perfect with crunch, the meat was tasty and no “fishy” taste most do not desire. Healthy sized portion and I had to finish it all. Next is the fish sandwich. Trust me
Ambience: 10/10
Very clean and welcoming! Lots of seating and doggy friendly. There is an outdoor area but it seems it’s for private parties? Not sure because there didn’t appear to be any seating that I could see. Not dark but not overly bright either, no loud music playing. Great for family time.
Service: 10/10
Heather was my server and she was so sweet and patient with me. She was knowledgeable of the menu. The bartender was on top of all the drink orders and had them ready as soon as I ordered them, she could hear me order from my table. I believe it was a manager that walked around and checked in the few patrons that were present, which was very comforting.
Food: 7/10
Happy hour was decent, the prices were fair for our inflation has ruined most low-cost items. I ordered chips and salsa which is claimed to be freshly made every day, but I’m not so sure. If it is then I highly recommend chopping cilantro fresh and mixing it in (not blend it) so it can have a much more fresh flavor. The flavor was ok and since it’s not a Mexican restaurant it’s understandable. The 6-piece wings were ok, I ordered lemon pepper. It was slightly over seasoned but not enough to make it inedible. What I didnt like is it had a flavor of sitting in the fridge, but I’m the only person (except one other person I’ve ever met) that can taste such a thing. I still ate them all because I love wings and beer. The best thing I ordered was the jalapeño cilantro humus!! 10/10 perfection and the pita bread was so soft! I would come back just for this! I ordered spaghetti as takeout for my daughter and she loved it! 10/10 but she didn’t eat the meatballs (she’s not a fan so it’s not the meatballs fault).
Overall I would come back again, the service and ambience is phenomenal, the food is good enough to warrant a return. Look forward to eating here again!
