Best West Allis bar! Great food. Cheap drinks. TVs to watch the game or race. Pool table, darts and gaming machines. But the thing that has kept me coming back for over 40 years (I’m only 41) is the awesome ownership. My dad brought me here as a kid, now I’m happy to bring mine.

This was a nostalgic stop for my dad and I. This is a place he came when he was much younger. It is a typical Wisconsin bar. An extremely small menu of burgers and sandwiches, hotdogs and pizza. We both had a burger. It was pretty good. The best thing about this experience was the amazing service and the fact that dad and I both had burgers and a beer for $11. This is an anomaly in these times of inflation. If you are new to Wisconsin and want an authentic small bar experience then I highly recommend Jimmy B’s

I really do love this bar, the food and drinks are great. I went on Friday and had Shannon as my bartender and she was the sweetest! Excellent service hands down. I went on Saturday thinking we would have the same experience but we had a different bartender. The WORST experience I’ve had at any bar. She was extremely rude the moment we walked in the door. So this time we decided to play pool so we didn’t have to sit at the bar. We ordered a pitcher of beer, a corona, a mix drink and food. She first stated she didn’t want to make food but we could have garlic bread. Which wasn’t a big deal. So we were playing pool, about to be on our third game, having a blast and she told my mom that we needed to leave if we weren’t going to buy more drinks. We could all tell she didn’t want us there the moment she came in. I really do love this bar but that bartender needs to be replaced, seriously. I believe her name is kimmy. I won’t say this is a bad bar, because when Shannon was bartending it was a great time. I’m not sure what we did for kimmy to treat us that way but it was unacceptable.

Place is amazing! Had a mushroom Swiss burger and a mini pitcher of High Life, both delicious. Filled with regulars, but very welcoming of newbies. Must say though I think they have a pull tab pile for newbies .

Im 40 and have been in this establishment since I was a kid. Kevin is always great, but this woman he has working the bar is a reason to go elsewhere. Upon asking for the wifi password, she insisted that she could not give it to me. It is for paying customers only. I looked back at my boyfriend and daughter, who were reviewing the menu, and told her we ARE ordering, we are deciding what we want. She said no again, because we hadn’t ordered. My boyfriend had to go up and put his card behind the bar for me to use the wifi, that i needed to move money to the right account to pay our bill. Just stupid. And rude. I felt very unwelcome.

Awesome local bar. The owner is very friendly, and his staff is always great. Excellent bar food. Try the mushroom and swiss burger, it’s fantastic… Over the years I’ve tried every choice on the menu at least once. I would eat any of them again. I have my favorites, but everything is great! Drinks and food are definitely priced right as well.

A gem of a bar and grill where the neighborhoods regulars come to gather daily. Don’t expect to get a seat at the bar without someone next to you. BUSY! With good reason! The grill is always cooking and the char it creates on the burgers is fantastic! No fryers unfortunately but the drinks are cold and the atmosphere is entrenched in classic west allis fashion. Went in there with my boyfriend and he forgot his i.d(we wanted to stop in there for a drink after dinner) but I had my i.d I was going to take a shot and leave while my boyfriend got us an Uber I pulled out my debt card and the bartender told us that it’s only a cash place as I went to go in my wallet to pull out cash she told me that I was taken way to long and that she didn’t feel comfortable with him (my boyfriend) not having an i.d and he said he will wait outside because our Uber was not even 5 minutes away she told us that I might be fine (after she looked at my i.d) but I was taken to long to get my money out and told us to leave because it’s a new year and something about the bar didn’t renew their license (something like that) and she didn’t trust this situation also she said that she works only mornings and she wasn’t even supposed to work this night and this was way to much for her she had a mean inpatient attitude from the start but nice to everyone else.
