Social Profile:

JIMMIES RESTAURANT is the essential eatery on Mercer Street, and it has been for a hundred years. Chef Kevin Hall and his wife resurrected the gem in their vision, preparing a place of cheer where everybody is welcome, and nobody is a stranger. Kevin and Jamie Hall and their staff aim to make you feel welcome, like you’re family. We also care about our fellow small business owners of downtown Princeton and hope that – after a revitalizing meal – you will explore the offerings and services of fellow Mercer Street entrepreneurs. JIMMIES RESTAURANT celebrates its centennial in 2022, and the best things in life are those we share – so come on down to JIMMIES and break bread with strangers and soon-to-be friends. Everybody’s welcome here!

I got the Appalachia Burger with onion rings and my daughter got the fried chicken sandwich.
We were both delightfully satisfied, my only complaint is the small amount of onion rings which were delicious.
I will be returning.
Thank you Jimmies.

Great restaurant. Very good food. Owner used to cook at the Greenbrier. I had the Jimmie burger which had 1/2 pound burger, ham, fried egg, house made 2000 island dressing(that’s what the menu says) lettuce and tomato. Onion rings were deep fried to near perfection. The menu is special today when we went because Mercer Street has a cruise in tonight and every third Saturday during summer. Well worth stopping in to Jimmies to eat and feel what it’s like to go back in time when things were more simple like the 50’s 60’s and 70’s. Mercer street has that old school feeling and jimmies puts the exclamation mark on it. I gave everything a 5 star rating because the food tastes fresh and the atmosphere gives that dive feeling.

We love eating at Jimmie’s the food is always fantastic and the owners are down to earth and always check on their customers. Our 2 year old looks forward to going and enjoying their children’s section of toys and games while we wait. The best local restaurant in town hands down.

You must try this amazing little diner. Super cute, VERY clean, the staff were extremely friendly. The food was SO TASTY. They had some simple, yet creative twists on their menu. I had the homemade pimento grilled cheese with bacon pepper jam & bacon with fresh cut fries….. that was the most delicious sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The flavors were incredible. A burger with fried green tomatoes was on the menu… you can’t get much better than this. Simple Country food with a FLAVORFUL twist. A must try if you are in the area. My picture doesn’t do it justice. Hats off to the amazing cooks who prepared this food.

We got the red neck egg roll, burger, and the chocolate covered strawberry milkshake. They have a good assortment of classic diner meals and a few unique creations too. Everything was superb and the staff was extremely friendly!

A great hometown café where the local police officer gossips about traffic court and a sweet senior citizen enjoys his 3r cup of coffee.

Very clean. Daily lunch specials. House made dill dressing. Decor calls back to hot rods and drive ins. Convenient free public parking available.

When you can, support your local businesses.

Couldn’t be happier to have this place so close and constantly providing perfectly executed, simple food.

Daily specials are the best thing in restaurants and they do it right every time.

Wait staff is awesome as well. Seriously a 10/10 local restaurant
