First time here in over 30 yrs, ( my favorite place growing up ) so disappointed. Went with family ordered scallop baskets and haddock basket, asked if it was real haddock and scallops and was assured they were the REAL thing . NOPE not at all it’s immitation frozen something so was lied to and don’t know what it was. Most of said scallops ( size of marbles ) had NONE in the breading . WHAT ?? How does that happen ? Figured we would try eat some anyway, Bad idea a few bites and instantly sick to our stomachs. People please beware when you go here this is NOT real nor fresh seafood. Shame on Jimmies for being deceitful. Will never go back. Then saw of the folks working in there drop a hamburger bun on the floor then pick it up and use it on someone’s burger. Seriousl ?? Disgusting, you don’t serve something off the floor in a restaurant or take out. The one thing that was good was the fresh cut fries.

I was looking forward to this place as it sounded like it had several options. Unfortunately I either was given the wrong kind or not what I expected (s’mores). Overcooked fried clams and onion rings. Ordered scallops.. not certain what we received, small , round , hard balls of what tasted like fish sticks. Worst seafood I have ever been served. They weren’t very busy, took 50+ minutes to get our food. We will not be going back, this is the second bad experience here.

Worst experience ive ever had tonight at jimmies!! Waited an hour for 2 fried clam baskets n a lobster roll basket!! Watched as people that ordered after us get their food before us!! Then finally got home with the food n it wasn’t complete missing cole slaw n to top it all off I pulled someones hair out of my mouth!! 70 dollars wasn’t worth it!! B a long time before I spend any money there again !! Should have more then young kids working there!!

Our first experience at Jimmie’s for ice cream. Would recommend their peanut buster parfait with whole peanuts, hot fudge & butterscotch, yum! And a bargain at $4.50! Will definetly return when in the Bangor/Brewer area.

The teenage girls were far too intrested in the teenage boys inside to speak with us and take our order. Finally got our order taken and waited for our ice cream just to be given the wrong food. Couldn’t even tell them they had gotten it wrong as they went right back to talking with the boys there. Not impressed with the service here.

One of Brewers best kept secrets is seemingly out. Jimmie’s is packed as it should be always. This is the best fast food (not to be mixed with McDonald’s or Burger King fast food). This food is actually amazing, made with quality ingredients.
