Jimmie and his family moved to Bonita Springs in late 2020. Born and raised in Chicago, Jimmie has been around Chicago-style sandwiches his whole life. Being the foodie that he is, Jimmie landed himself in the beef business years ago and has acquired the name Jimmie The Beef Guy. He has always dreamed of opening a restaurant in his hometown with his favourite Chicago-style sandwiches of all time. With true inspiration from Chicago, Jimmie The Beef Guy is here to offer you delicious, mouthwatering sandwiches. Jimmie is co-owner of the business with his son, Quentin. My first time eating at Jimmies, all the way from Gainesville Fl, the atmosphere is very warm and a little busy but the owner greets you and you immediately feel a home vibe! Like your uncle or pops about to whip you up the best thing they knew how. Food service was fast and fresh! Great conversation with the owner as well. I will definitely be back!! I recommend the Italian beef and the breaded steak sandwich.

First time here and I was so impressed! The cashier was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations, and even the owner came by to share a few of his favorites. We tried the breaded steak sandwich we’d seen online and the Italian beef, both with giardiniera, and they were incredible. The owner recommended the lemon Italian ice to finish off our meal, and I’m so glad we listened. It was the perfect ending. While we ate inside, we watched customers come in and receive the same warm, genuine service, whether they were regulars or first-timers. Already looking forward to my next visit!

We’ve been coming to Bonita springs for many years and have wanted to try Jimmie’s. Well we got there finally yesterday just before they closed. What an expensive disappointment. We got two beef sandwiches with cheese and were told we had to take them to go because they were closing. No problem, as we stay only 5 minutes away. Within a minute of leaving the store the bag with the sandwiches was dripping with grease. By the time we got back to our place (7 minute drive) there was a puddle under the bag. When we opened it to eat, the bread was falling apart. A big soggy mess. The beef was tasty, but the bread had disintegrated . A complete waste of $34.00 for two 6 inch sandwiches!! Never again. Will not recommend this place.

This Chicago Beef is as authentic as it gets! The meat is perfectly sliced with just the right amount of au jus to keep the bread moist without falling apart. We added the sweet peppers and mozzarella for the perfect sandwich. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We will definitely be going back!

Italian beef w/ giardiniera & a side of fries. Very filling to say the least. The spice & acidity from the giardiniera complimented the heaviness of the Italian beef + cheese sauce. Each item was made really good and it’s messy but in a good way. It’s enough to knock someone into a food coma. The customer service was great as it was my first time and the cashier made it easy to order and recommended this order. Definitely will be coming here again. While it does look messy from the photo, it definitely is a “don’t trust a book by the cover” as each bite packs a punch of flavor. All in all, a clean & well maintained restaurant with excellent food.

There isn’t a better Chicago style beef restaurant anywhere. The breaded steak is phenomenal as well and those fries? Chefs kiss! Hands down the best spot in town and maybe in Chicago. You have to go here!

Chicago family here. Don’t waste your time or money. Plenty of other places to get good Chi Town food and this isn’t it. We know our food! And tiny beefs at high prices isn’t it.
