As everyone comments, comfort food it is. My wife & I both had a choice from the Breakfast Special menu. I chose the Eggs Benedict and my wife the Cinnamon Raisin French Toast. My Poached eggs were perfect but the muffin was under toasted and mushy and the sauce was just OK. The Hash Browns were perfect for my taste, crispy and unsalted. I do know how to use a salt shaker, if needed. So kudos to JiMichaels for that! My wife said the French Toast was above average and the sausage was kind of greasy. Overall, if I’m in the area I will stop in again and try more options. That’s a positive right there!

The Walleye was outstanding with nice light breading and light and flaky fish. Great rice pilaf and green beans. Side salad was large and very tasty.

Comfort is THE word to describe all aspects of this diner. Good good food, fab friendly down home service – always with a family style smile- and a homey old school atmosphere, gives- you- a -hug when you come in, where you feel their warm welcome the whole time you’re there. Love this eatery. Skip the franchises come back to good ole food served by really good people who aren’t reading off a script!

We’ve been searching all over the greater Phoenix area for a diner that could come close to our other favorite diner… in Mesa… today we finally did! This place has, hands down, the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had, and one of the most creative menus I’ve found. I got the gyro and eggs and it was flippin’ amazing. We also got the blintzes to share… phenomenal. Go here. The location is kind of strange, but you won’t regret finding it. Shoutout to Christina and the rest of the staff for taking such good care of us. Coffee was always fresh and the service was incredible… FAST too!

Food was terrible! Chicken salad special with potato soup. Very bland. My husband got the open face roast beef. Instant mashed potatoes and 3 strips of beef. Waste of money and time! Server was not friendly at all. I never leave reviews but this was bad!

The food was perfect, and the staff was wonderful! Our busser, Anthony helped us with getting seated with an awkward seating issue. And our waitress Casey was so helpful getting everything perfect! They really went above and beyond for me and my grandparents. I definitely recommend!!

Came here after work one evening with my guy. If you’re looking for comfort Sunday dinner type offerings this is a good place. The food was great, service was on point. I think this place is sort of a hidden gem.

I visited JiMichaels Diner with my parents for dinner on a Friday early evening and it was already starting to get filled up…..and parking next to the building fills up quickly but the attached center of businesses appears to have plenty of parking. I posted the menu as well as the specials for Friday and we all got items that were the specials. My parent’s got the beer battered cod and the cod & shrimp combo specials and I also got the Cod & shrimp combo. I enjoyed the meal and had no issues but my mother said her cod was over done and thought it had too much breading, my father said his beer battered cod was great. I thought the service was also good, we had an attractive Hispanic lady, with long nails and glittery eye shadow who we all enjoyed as she joked about her nails getting in the way when trying to bring cups to us.
I would recommend JiMichaels to anyone looking for great service and a good meal, and I still plan on returning to try their breakfast so I’ll post another review of that as soon as I go back.
