My mom (who is visiting from Colorado) and I picked up dinner for my family. I ordered a carnitas taco salad, taquitos w/guacamole and three churros a/caramel sauce to go. When I got home, I was missing the guacamole and only received one churro w/sauce so I went back to get it.
The lady in the front was very rude and told the lady in back what happened with an attitude while
smirking at me thru the window. While I was waiting for my order my mom called and said my dad was missing the carnitas for the salad. I let the girl know and she made me send a picture and when I showed he she thoroughly inspected the photo. She handed me a bag with the guac and Churros with no sauce. Let her know and she laughed quietly and in turn I let her know I am not dishonest and wasn’t trying to cheat them out of money. My family was eating without me and I was wasting time and gas for this. Never did I get an apology just attitude so I asked for her bosses number.
She then sent the cook up to give me the rest of my order with no number. When I asked her for the number I realized she didn’t speak English so I asked her in Spanish and the girls face was very surprised when she realized that I underrates crap she was talking!
The manger called me and was very nice, she said the girl was filling in from a different store which made more sense b/c the staff there is usually very nice. Absolutely no problem with the cook either, she is always very sweet just the girl upfront from the moment I walked in the empty store

This was actually my second time trying Jimboy’s Tacos. The first time was about 12 years ago at their Roseville location, and I didn’t enjoy it back then,, it was too salty and lacked flavor. However, my husband has always said they’re good, so I decided to give it another try, especially since this was a different location. The girl at the register was super friendly and welcoming, and even the lady working in the kitchen was very nice. The food was good this time. The tacos were still a bit salty, possibly due to the Parmesan cheese on the outside of the shells?? but the steak burrito was flavorful, and the taco salad was tasty. Overall, it was a much better experience than I remembered.

Been here once before sometime in 2020 (first time jimboy) and got tacos. Wasn’t impressed. Decided to give it a try again this time a steak burrito….$10!!!!! I received a taco bell sized burrito for my $10. I know inflation and all but that is ridiculous!!! Last time going to Jimblows.

Maybe it’s because of the neighborhood?

The tacos seem drier, the cheese is less melty.
The taco paper is always clean when I’m done at this location.
Some may like this better, no judgement from me. I was raised on drippy red grease all over the place.
Maybe they are trying to make them ‘healthier’ or something?
It’s still good!
The staff is great! The salsa bar is always stocked!

It is similar to a Taco Bell but with good customer service. You can get better Mexican food for the price.

You know people are trying way too hard on food and combining anything to make it their own. Jimboy’s you need to go back to the kitchen and learn how to remake your brand. This has to be some of the worst food I have ever purchased. Who in their right mind puts parmesan cheese on their Mexican food? I will say their taquitos we’re just about the only edible food. I’m sorry I don’t think I will be coming back to this place or ever recommend any of your locations to my family and friends. I will also be discouraging anyone else I hear or know considering your establishments. Perhaps in the future if anything changes I may revisit.

I travel a lot. I put on a lot of miles on my car and I have to eat out and I’m gluten-free so I Try to Find restaurants that are Clean and healthy and this 1 is 1 of those. The service was fast. The place was one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve seen in a long time. And the service was very nice. Very pleasant and polite. I would highly recommend them as a way to get fast food that is good and inexpensive.
