Drive-through customer service was quite friendly. The food on the other hand was garbage. A little bit of meat mixed with plenty of grease. I ordered two enchilada plate and one taco. It’s nothing like the Jimboys of the past. The taco at best had a half a Tablespoon of ground beef and really no lettuce to speak of. Had plenty of grease though. Enchiladas were the same way hardly any meat but plenty of grease. Not sure what happened to this chain as it used to be excellent. Maybe I’ll try another location, but definitely I will not be returning to this location.

A restaurant that meets customers’ requests for Mexican food prepared in America (American tacos) by chefs who specialize in preparing meals and flavors. The restaurant has a high degree of cleanliness and they also have a special driveway for take-out meals. I recommend visiting it at least once or more per month.

Prices have increased significantly. Food quality has decreased. They used to be my favorite fast food. Now I’m truly offended by them for the outrageous price increases and lower quality food/preparation! Besides all that they stopped doing shredded chicken options. Stupid stupid mistake @jimboyscorporate! You make me feel like I’ve been robbed at gunpoint when I leave Jimboy’s! Then you remove shredded chicken?! That was the 1 thing that kept me coming to you. Shame on you Jimboy’s.!!!

I dined in. The food was good as per usual and the staff were very nice. My only complaint is the lobby was VERY Smokey. So much so that my eyes burned and watered. It seemed as if their ventilation in the kitchen is not working properly. We almost left because it was that bad. An employee ended up opening the door to let the smoke out. I can’t believe the staff has to work in that. They let me know that they have been having the smoke problem and are trying to get management to fix it. I really hope management takes this serious. Smoke is so bad for their employees health. I couldn’t imagine having to work in that everyday.

Ladies working at this location today are stellar! My kiddo said this was the best taco he had ever had, and they were so kind to help us out as we were unfamiliar with the style of tacos. We absolutely loved it!

I recently dined in at this restaurant and ordered tacos. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The food was excessively greasy, and the service left much to be desired. The ambience was also poor, with a non-functional air conditioner and numerous house flies that made it nearly impossible to enjoy the meal.

Been to this location in the Safeway parking lot 3 times and they’ve failed everytime. Last time was 7:30pm on 10/21/24, the tacos were cold the cheese didn’t even melt, I asked for taco sauce and the girl with braces said “okay it’s in the bag” it was not in the bag, the beans were cold in the burrito as well. Barely any cheese on the burrito. Go to any location but this one, the last two times the food was terrible too, bad lettuce once with cold meat and they always forget my sauces. Have to go in myself everytime.

Jimboys has always been a favorite for us. Over the years, there have been several items on their menu that we have enjoyed but their tacos are my favorite. The parmesan on the shell has been an inspiration to my families kitchen. They truly are a Sacramento favorite. The service is always nice and they did a great job designing the store with modern decor.
