I’m giving a 5 star review on this restaurant overall. Despite the ribs being slightly overcooked in my opinion, I prefer a slightly firm rib as opposed to falling off the bone when you try to pick them up. The flavor was great (but slightly salty)! You didn’t need sauce and that is something that I think makes great BBQ. Sauce is supposed to “compliment” your BBQ, not be what you rely on. The sauce was tangy, and had a slight “zing” finish. The beans were good, they are on the sweeter side. The greens were seasoned well too. The atmosphere definitely gives small town vibes, but could use some touch up. Overall, I would highly recommend it if you like a BBQ with a cherry and hickory wood.

I had an amazing experience here! The chopped BBQ pork plate was absolutely outstanding. The pork was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of that delicious smoky flavor that great barbecue should have. Honestly, it might be the most tender BBQ pork I’ve ever tasted. The sweet BBQ sauce paired perfectly with it and added even more flavor.
I also tried the pork sandwich plate and it was just as good, with the same tasty sauce and moist, flavorful meat. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was extremely friendly, which made the visit even better.
The menu has a nice variety of options, and there’s also a great selection of desserts to choose from. There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, including a nice patio and bar area where they even have live music sometimes.
The staff were welcoming and kind, and the owner Jimbo even took the time to stop and chat, which was really nice. He seems very friendly and appreciative of his customers. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the brisket and the dry ribs next time!

This was a detour off the highway, recommended by Google maps. I am so glad we did. We arrived 45 minutes before closing, but the staff was happy to sit us, and make arrangements for us to eat in, as well as take the remains with us. We got the sampler and everything was excellent. Send the best damn brisket I’ve ever had in my damn life. Hickory smoke, penetrates the restaurant and the food. Fall off the bone smack your mama good

I fasted for 32.5 hours and broke my fast with a dinner here. I was quite disappointed with the brisket. My only complaint is the food. See picture. Friendly people, I just don’t know how old this brisket was….

Take out here is awesome. Couldn’t ask for better service. The dine in atmosphere on busier days is not for me , only because they typically are pretty crowded with a full house BUT that’s a personal preference. Obviously they wouldn’t stay full up like that if they weren’t fantastic – which they are! They honestly just about need a warehouse to accommodate the capacity the excellent customer service and food quality they serve here!

Outstanding chopped bbq pork plate. Very friendly service with reasonable prices. Pork sandwich plate also very good with the same sweet bbq sauce. Excellent moist pork with a great smoked taste and absolutely the tenderest bbq I’ve ever had. Nice menu variety and large selection of deserts. Plenty of seating inside and out on nice patio and bar area with live music. Will definitely be going back to try the brisket and dry ribs. Staff very friendly and Jimbo doesn’t mind stopping to talk-very friendly and appreciative owner.

Looking for a place to eat out of the city. We found this Barbecue on the Google maps in the area. We were so glad we decided to stop. We walked in and was greeted immediately. We were asked to pick a table. We sat down and handed a menu. Ordered right away and we were eating in 5 minutes. The food quality is very good. The Sliced brisket was very good and moist. Sided were very good also. If you are in the area. We highly recommend this bbq.
