I had a completely different and much better review of this place then, a kitchen manager posted and asked reddit if the wings I sent back were cooked and he had the nerve to come show me….

We ordered a 10 pack of Buffalo wings….they came out kinda fast but were screaming hot…I took a big drummette and my friend was munching on flats….mine was completely raw (see photo).

We talked to the server and he agreed the one was raw and he ordered us a new plate. Again, they came out pretty fast, but as we nervously started to eat these ones the rest of our food came out.

At some point someone came out from the kitchen in a red apron, and started out apologetic and polite, and claims they temp everything…I mentioned I had been a chef for 20 years and I know raw….I also understand just because the 1 or 2 that gets temped, might not be the problem. He said he’d take care of them and after I mentioned the next plate and everything else was good, he walked away.

A few minutes later he came back out and asked if the photo that he showed me on his phone was my plate and I said it looks like it could be, he proceeded to say these are all cooked…so I showed him the photo I took, of which he obviously didn’t photo that one. He agreed it was raw and apologized and walked away.

A few minutes later he came back and showed me his phone again which was a screen of writing, it asked some question about if these are cooked, showed the photo, and then the 1 reply said they were….at this point I realized he asked reddot….

At this point I blew up, yes I made a scene, but how inappropriate is it to keep coming back, arguing they were cooked, and to be so dumb as to ask reddit….an apology and take the wings off was all that was needed…

As we are yelling at each other I told him to leave the table. I got up, he kept arguing, I said just let me pay my bill and leave…he said I told you I took care of it. He had only ever mentioned he took care of them…I never assumed it was the entire bill.

Did I blow up, yes, was it provoked by some undertrained manager…ABSOLUTLEY.

I’ve tried finding the reddit thread, but can not.

At first I wasn’t even expecting anything to be comped, as I never expect that…as a customer though, I do just want to hear an apology and then to move on.

This manager/cook us provoking and very inappropriate.

Jimanos pizza for the first time in Englewood, Colorado. I’ve been driving past this place for almost 16 years and decided to give it a try. I had a stuff pepperoni pizza that was really good and it was so good that ended up not being able to eat at all and having to take it home. It was a lot to eat even though it was a 12 inch pizza. The tiramisu was definitely great. I could’ve eaten a few cups. The staff was very nice which is hard to find. Also, I had a sausage sandwich with cheese and that was great too. I will definitely be back hopefully soon since I don’t live too far on the Lakewood and Denver border.

I was very happy to find a place that serves Chicago-style thin crust not too far out from downtown Denver. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience!

I ordered a 14” thin cheese with extra sausage, cooked well done. I ate it all and enjoyed every last bit of it! For the price paid, I think it’s definitely worth giving this place a try if you’re in the area. Additionally, if you come on a Wednesday, you can get 50% off on any pizza you order.

I’ll definitely return here if I’m in the area again!

We came to this shopping center for the five below lol. So glad I came across Jimano’s. They look like an average Italian pizza spot in any shopping center, but let me tell you…..! I am a true pizza lover & they have the best pizza I have ever had in MY LIFE! I am not exaggerating! I ordered a pie with an Alfredo base with fresh garlic and spinach. Not only is the food amazing, the service is as well! They are so friendly and accommodating. To top off the amazing food, their sauces are SOOO GOOOOOD!!! Idk if they make them from scratch or just have the best brand of sauce I’ve ever had lol. I am nowhere from this area, but I would go out of the way to be a return customer. Inside is clean and bathrooms are clean. Great place!

I’m such a proponent of positive feedback for restaurants but after reaching out to this location without any response, I have to share real feedback for others. We discovered Jimano’s about 5 or 6 months ago. We loved them in the beginning. We live in Castle Rock and had no trouble making the trek up there and back to get a good pizza. It’s pretty good but not “great”. You pay a hefty price for a good pizza here. If you order on a night they’re running a promo it’s never done right. Not once. We have only received our pizza the way it was ordered on nights when there is not a promotion or discount offered.

They will gladly accept your money for double toppings but only actually give them to you when it’s full price. Don’t waste your money ordering extra anything (including extra cheese) unless you’re paying full price.

One thing we have found in Colorado is the lack of consistency and I’m not able to figure out if it’s a lack of training or just not caring what you put out the door. Luckily a new Rosati’s is coming to Centennial soon and we’ll likely start ordering there as long as they do it right. Shame on you Jimano’s of Englewood…Chicago locations would be disappointed in you.

Drove down from north Aurora and went in on a Friday evening around 6 or 7 for dine in. We ordered a stuffed pizza with mushroom and sausage(each topping was $3.75?!) We had to wait over 40 minutes for our pizza and it was missing the sausage, we didn’t realize til quite a while in. The server only came to my table 2 times and we had to ask another server for refills. Additionally, we ordered the 5 piece “JUMBO” buffalo wings($10 for FIVE) though they were good they were no better than wings anywhere else and they were in fact NOT jumbo. While we arose our concerns they did nothing to make it better, not even a sorry for the wait time. We were really excited to try this place but dont think we’ll return

It ain’t much to look at, but this pizzeria is the real deal if you crave that Chicago style Tavern pizza. The thin crispy crust cut into squares … I’ve been on the hunt for 20 years and this place does it better than anybody else in Denver! The dining room doesn’t really exist… It’s more of just a couple of booths and tables under fluorescent lights
so if you’re looking to eat in, don’t expect ambience just expect some damn good pizza!

I am so happy to now know that Denver has a Jimano’s. This one is spot on to the Chicago locations! Great tavern style pizza with authentic sausage. If you like real Chicago pizza, this place has to be on your radar.

This is Chicago style place that loves their Chicago team sports.
It’s a great place for Chicagoans to get a piece of home away from home. Has great Chicago examples of Italian food.
The food is great and the service is always great.
I will say the place does get a little hot during the summertime and I would definitely find a way to fix that. It REALLY needs to be fixed.
Overall, I do love the food and service but I love it a lot more in the Winter!
I’m really hoping the owners will see this post and remedy how hot it can get in here especially on hot days.
Other than that I would completely recommend this place to anyone.
The server they have is absolutely great and always is.
Try the Italian Beef Italian sausage sandwich it’s amazing!
The pizza is super good as well!

Called Alex at Jimano’s with less than 24 hours notice requesting space for a large (18 people) party. He was able to fit us in, made us very comfortable. Food came out quicker than we expected considering such a large order. Breadsticks, wings, and pizzas were hot & delicious. Drinks kept flowing. It was an amazing experience and the food alone is worth going out of our way for. Vegetarian pizza & gluten free pizza were fantastic! The service was exceptional. Thank you!
