We visited for dinner as a group of four, including friends from Japan. We had a 7:00 PM reservation, and everything from arrival to seating was smooth and well-organized. The interior beautifully blends traditional Thai elements with a modern, refined design, creating an atmosphere that immediately impressed our guests.
Despite being a famous restaurant, the dining space felt calm and comfortable, with well-spaced tables and a relaxed mix of international and local diners. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, especially when it came to explaining Thai dishes and discussing wine pairings in English. One of the highlights is that you can openly consult the staff about pairing Thai cuisine with both local and international wines, which adds a unique and thoughtful dimension to the dining experience.
The food is modern Thai cuisine, carefully balanced and adapted for international guests, with refined and approachable flavors. We ordered several dishes to share, all of which paired beautifully with wine. Highlights included the slow-braised pork in a sweet and savory sauce, and a sea bass soup inspired by a regional recipe from Chief Chef Lek. My wife and I recently had dinner with some friends at Jim Thompson. They were extremely accommodating as we did have infant with us. The food was delicious. I had the Wagyu steak (Nua Yarng Gaeng Nob Pa Gao). This place has outdoor and indoor seating. It’s right along the water as well. I highly recommend this spot.

The food was delicious. Highly recommend the lamb dish, the beef curry, and the stir-fried eggplant dish also. The desserts were also great — the Som Chun, mango sticky rice, and the shaved ice, which they prepare right at the table. Loved everything!

This place is truly exceptional. The setting is absolutely stunning, refined and calming from the moment you walk in. The food, both visually and in terms of flavour, is a perfect 10 out of 10. Every dish feels deeply considered and crafted with real artistry.
The service was outstanding. Fon, the manager, and Lookmee, our waitress, were extraordinary, warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. They made the whole experience feel effortless and memorable.
If you can, I highly recommend sitting outside by the pond, it’s absolutely sublime.
Honestly, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. A must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Great food and ambience, but Terrible service.
My wife and I were there celebrating special occasion. I had ordered the desserts during the start of our meal. However, the dessert never showed up, even after asking 3 times for it to the waiting staff. In the meantime while waiting for the dessert, I was handed a bill where I had been charged for the dessert that was never served. I explained the ordeal the person supervising there, who then removed the price of the dessert for the bill, and offered a cup of tea as an act of compensation. Truly disappointing.
