First time eating here from out of town. Started off with delicious cheesy biscuits that I could eat myself sick on. Had some mediocre deviled eggs, but a solid bloody mary. Got the choose 3 meats combo…Skip the pulled pork it was so bland and watery. Get right to the brisket and spare ribs. The bark was amazing on them, and you could taste the love. Sides we chose were beans, mac and cheese, potato salad, and slaw. All just decent nothing to write home about. Definitely would eat here again, but getting all ribs instead!

We visited this location on a Saturday evening while picking up a call-in order. When I called in the order the employee was really hard to understand and mumbled. They were out of brisket and pork which was disappointing. When picking up the order customer service was just ok. I ordered smoked wings, ribs and cheddar biscuits. The smoked wings are usually our favorite but these tasted like they had been sitting as they were a tad over cooked. The ribs were great and had a lot of meat. The biscuits were good too. I would visit a different location next time.

Good brisket. Not as good as some Texas restaurants like Hutchens. Had good bark on brisket but missing a good smoke ring. Baked beens are good as the baked potato, mac and cheese, and fries. Sweet tea was great classic southern sweet tea.

We were driving through on a trip across the country. We needed a place to accommodate our dog. They allowed dogs on the patio. Nate was our server. He was fabulous. Above and beyond. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food.

They server was really nice at first, but kind of fake. Then, another person brought the food. Then after a loooooong wait, the original server finally came by again. We thought he had forgotten about us. The brisket sandwich was 5 times too salty.

Since the new manager Brett steped in this place is back to its outstanding food that they are known for. Daniel/Danny always takes great care of me when I go in and do a takeout order. He is very sweet and always makes sure my order is right and yummy. Their BBQ chicken spud is my favorite!

I am Extremely disappointed!!! I just ordered using Uber Eats- a Carolina style barbecue pork Sandwich. The Sandwich was supposed to come with Carolina style barbecue sauce, pickles, and cole slaw. Instead, I received a dry “meat” sandwich. I say “meat” because the protein was so dry and flavorless, Idk if it’s pork, chicken, or turkey! Furthermore, there were no pickles, cole slaw, or bbq sauce. Just dry mystery meat slapped betweem two buns. I paid $11 for an “After-thought” sandwich. Smh!

Often in Memphis your told to go look for one of the Mom & Pops BBQ joints for the good stuff. Here is a great place to go for a larger experience. More room, bring a crowd and a pretty wide selection to fill every one needs. Good BBQ and amazingly consistent from store to store, both in the quality of the food and service. Very pleased.

Our server Lola made the experience fantastic! We we’re visiting from out of state. The BBQ was so delicious!! I had the chopped salad with vinaigrette and my husband had the Pig on a Bum sandwich. So, so delicious!! My salad had chicken on it and it was roasted and moist. Excellent all around. Go to Jim ‘N Nick’s when in Memphis!
