This was some good BBQ!!! Final try Jim ‘N Nicks community Bar-B-Q. We enjoyed the chicken with potato salad & slaw, and some turkey with pork n beans (pulled pork too) bbq corn on the cob was awesome and Turkey.
Have to try the white sauce it rocks! Kido has the mac n cheese with brisket every one was happy
And on a happy not much was GF and it was clearly labeled for a win!!

Probably the best BBQ my with and I have ever had. We had the marbled brisket, flavorful from first to last bite. Carolina pulled pork and “regular” pulled pork, both were juicy and delicious. I prefer the Carolina sauce, my wife liked the sweet and savory sauce. Both were super yummy. I’ve only had collard greens once before, they were not good, this serving was amazing. Got the side of mac and cheese, wasn’t too bad, I thought it needed a little more seasoning but perfectly done otherwise. Probably won’t be back any time soon since we’re from AZ and were here on vacation … but I would recommend them to anyone reading this.

Early to rise is the method for this smoke house. Although not open until 11 am, workers begin crafting the smoked meats at 4AM. Everything made in house, including the very unique concoction sauce. I tried the combo platter because I love smoked meats. Ordered the pulled pork, chicken and brisket. Everything was delicious. The chicken had my favorite flavor and it was juicy!. Brisket was cooked to perfection and I could cut it with a fork. Ordered the mac and cheese and coleslaw as sides. Coleslaw was crunchy and very good, although my preferences lean towards cream based coleslaw this is a salute to a classic vinegar base. The Mac and cheese was amazing. Definitely could taste the homemade care put into this beauty. Highly recommend for the pursuer of meats that aren’t over bearing with blinding seasoning. The meat was the show and it performed today.

They have the macaroni and brisket balls that I absolute love! They aren’t on the menu so you have to request them. Their ranch dressing and some type of honey hot sauce to dip them in is lipsmacking! I also like their smoked wings and cheddar biscuits. Restaurant atmosphere gives old country kitchen feel similar to Cracker Barrel. While waiting on my order at the bar I had one of the best lemon drop Ive ever had.

My family came to town from Philadelphia, PA and we had a party of 11 tonight. We sat in a room off to the side that we had all to ourselves and it was perfect! Taylor was our server and she was so sweet and attentive. The food was amazing ( as always) and everything was served hot. It was so nice to be able to eat with everyone and the room we were in made it all the better! Thank you to all of the staff and especially Taylor for our excellent experience tonight! We appreciate you all!

For the most part, it’s pretty good. I got 2 lb of ribs with greens, fruit and devil eggs. The devil eggs were pretty good. The ribs were spare ribs, not fall off the bone, but pleasantly tender. I do like how they leave the rib tips on the bone but there isn’t a lot of smoke in them like there is in the restaurant. My wife had brisket, Carolina chopped pork, baked beans and greens. A lot of tomato based sauce was put on the brisket that was unpleasant BUT the brisket was thick cut and tender. Will ask the remove the sauce next time. The pull pork and with the Carolina sauce was exceptional even though I do not like pull pork. The fruit was fresh, the greens was ok, and the beans was mushy. I will go back. No sauce on brisket. Oh and don’t let me forget about my unsweet tea. I got unsweet tea with lemonade. I couldn’t get enough of it. The lemonade tastes freshly made.

I visited Jim N Nick’s BBQ on a Monday night around 7:00 while in town visiting the new Ford Blue Oval City plant. I sat at the bar and ordered a 2 meat plate with Carolina Pulled pork and pulled smoked chicken. Everything was delicious and the portions were large. I got a mayonnaise based spicy BBQ sauce for the chicken and I loved it and have never had anything like it before. The food also came out in 2 minutes. I definitely recommend!

Recommended by a friend as a Memphis must eat. The food was unbelievable. We did have a bit of a wait at the drive-thru but it is understandable since it was Mother’s Day. The ribs and pulled pork were outstanding. Cheese biscuits have a consistency similar to cornbread and are perfect served with the sweet butter. Highly recommend!

The smell of smoked BBQ at their entrance made our mouths water!!! Our bartender Brandon went above and beyond customer service. He was extremely attentive to us at the bar and the people sitting down at a table.
We ordered the baby back ribs, wings, greens, and mac n cheese. All was delicious. ESPECIALLY THE MAC N CHEESE! The peach tea was awesome, too! There are so many chopped peaches in the glass! Since I like to taste the local beers while driving through the states, Brandon, let me try the two local beers on tap. I settled for the lighter one.
If you are driving through the Memphis area, I recommend you stop by and sample some of their BBQ.
