If you’re looking for some good bar-b-q and amazing customer service, look no further. Jim and Nicks has something for everyone, including a super picky eater like me. We eat out all the time but had never found a good barbecue place until now. After we decided to try Jim and Nicks we were hooked. We eat here at least once or twice a week. They have some of the best barbecue chicken and brisket we have ever tasted. If you like baked beans, you need to try some here. Delicious!! If you have kids, I bet they would love the macaroni. So good! Love the onion rings too!!! They always bring out complementary cheesy muffins that are delicious. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting .They always have great music playing and you can still hear your conversation with the people at your table because it’s not too loud. I have to mention one thing that has set the restaurant apart from all the other places we eat, the friendly managers and staff!! There are two managers there that we have really enjoyed talking to each time we come in, Jeremy and Leah.They have the best attitudes and always are smiling.They are the true definition of top notch managers. All the staff has the best attitudes!! We are lifetime customers.
Just a note, my husband loves the banana pudding so if you like dessert, you might want to try it.

Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ has become one of my favorites—I’ve been back four times already! The Southern salad and nachos are both excellent, and honestly, everything I’ve tried has been perfect. The servers are incredibly helpful and accommodating, which makes the experience even better. I’ve never had a bad meal or poor service here—it’s consistently great.

Jim ’N Nick’s BBQ is always a solid choice! The cornbread biscuits are my absolute favorite — seriously amazing and easily the highlight of every visit. The ribs are pretty good, with great flavor, and the burger is decent if you’re in the mood for something simple.
My only real complaint (and the reason this isn’t a 5-star review) is the to-go packaging. The boxes always fall apart and have dumped my food more than once. It’s frustrating, especially when the food itself is so good. If they fix the Togo containers, this place would be perfect!

My sister and I recently found this place when we were looking to eat near West Town Mall. I liked it so much I brought my husband back the next week when we had to make a trip to Knoxville. My favorite items were the muffins they serve complimentary, the smoked turkey sandwich, and the corn on the cob.
Does it make #1 on my list of favorite bbq places? No, I haven’t found anything that beats Banjo’s BBQ in Dayton, Tn but it is my favorite BBQ place in Knoxville.
My one complaint is I don’t like standing at the counter to order like I’m at a fast food place, then being asked to tip before I’m given any service.

This was our first time dining at Jim and Nick’s! It was my myself and my two teen sons! The staff was so friendly, especially our waitress Marissa. She knew the menu and the food like the back of her hand. The restaurants atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the layout was beautiful! You can dine inside or outside on the patio. All of our food was fresh and delicious. I got the combo plate with Carolina Pork and jalapeño cheddar sausage, With collard greens and barbecue corn on the cob! My Son‘s got the loaded mac & cheese & the boss sandwich with potato salad. We also ordered deviled eggs for the table. we also got the little complementary cheddar biscuit/cornbread muffins that were addictively good. And for dessert, we got their delicious banana pudding! We all enjoyed and liked everything that we got and would order it again. Everything was fresh and delicious and seasoned well.

I experienced a friendly welcome from James, who patiently waited and explained the menu. He was so knowledgeable professional and made me that I didn’t need to rush. The food was absolutely amazing, seasoned to perfection . The spare ribs, smoked turkey, chicken and Catfish. The sides were phenomenal. I didn’t need to add the condiments to enhance the flavors. Ethan checked on us often and made sure we had everything we need. Other staff also helped, which made me feel that everyone cared about my experience. I haven’t had an experience like this ever ant a restaurant All the staff made me feel like I a valued as customer and they would love to have me back. Not to mention the Barbque Ribs were the best I ever had at a restaurant and at other places . They were tender, juicy and falling off the bones. No barbecue sauce needed. I will be dining here at least once a week. I will tell everyone I know and invite them to join me. Thank you for a Great experience and great food. ❤️

I have visited several times now and have never been disappointed with the food or service. The staff has been top notch each visit. They’re very attentive and friendly. I’ve tried several different items each visit and the quality is top notch no matter what I’ve ordered. Be sure to save room for the chocolate pie because it is very delicious .

We moved to Knoxville last week and accidentally stumbled on this place and decided to check it out.
From the very first bite of the complimentary muffins, I knew it was going to be good, but I was actually shocked at how much I loved everything. The service was good, the atmosphere was great, and the food was a 10/10.
I do wish the prices were a little better, but it was so good I’d pay it again. I also wish I received more Mac n cheese ( i had a lot less than my husband) but that’s okay too it was still so good. The deviled eggs were great and the potato salad is the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Overall we will definitely be back. So good !

Let me take you along the journey that is dining at Jim ‘N Nicks bar-b-q.
First off, Jim and Nick put “raise the bar” in barbecue. Second off, Jim and Nick put the brisket mac & cheese bombs in “the bomb diggity”.
The complementary cheese biscuits hit the table before I hit the seat. 10/10 from me. Whilst people watching we noticed the manager, we titled him Jim, getting with it. If there was a need it was met before you even realized you needed it. Jim needs a raise for the way he raised the bar even more than the Jim ‘N Nicks standard. 10/10
When the food arrived we were met face to face with a footlong loaded potato. The woman in the booth behind us audibly gasped at the sight, as did we. (No joke) 10/10 once again.
After our meal, a possible other manager, we titled him Nick, took our dishes/trash. I do believe at one point I saw the pair levitating to get customers needs met faster. 10/10
Overall, I would say Jim ‘N Nick put the Big Booty(pork butt) Queens in BBQ.
If I have twins one day, best believe I will be naming them Jim and Nick after this experience. I felt God in this restaurant today.

We were blown away by how good the food here is! The turkey was so juicy, the cheese bread was amazing, and so was everything else. They bring your food to you and clean your table. The service was great and so was the vibe. Overall I would highly recommend Jim ‘N Nicks Bar-B-Q. Generous Portions too!
