I had an amazing experience at this restaurant 10/10! The atmosphere is beautiful, warm, and very inviting, and the décor fits the concept perfectly. Everything was spotless, so the cleanliness really stood out. On top of that, the service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and efficient, which made the whole visit even better.
Now, the food was outstanding. The ribs were cooked to perfection super satisfying, with a great smoky flavor where you could truly taste the wood. The brisket was incredibly tender and packed with an amazing flavor. And the beans deserve a special mention: I honestly had never tasted beans that delicious before. The mac and cheese was also really good creamy and full of flavor.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I would absolutely come back and I highly recommend it!

We both had pulled pork sandwiches. We both had fries and one of us added mac n cheese and the other added a sausage link. The free bread is okay – can’t beat free and despite only calling it okay, I ate quite a bit. I only call it “okay” because it was quite plain. Pulled pork was just fine – not really special at all but not bad. I put a lot of sauce on mine to have some flavor – the bread was overpowering. Both the fries and the mac n cheese were good – nothing too unique about them but that wasn’t a bad thing. Sausage link was great – I could make a meal out of just those.

Absolutely amazing! Their menu is very versatile. I love the spare ribs. Pulled pork? Fantastic! The chicken. Ummm… I’d eat their chicken every day if I could. It is Michelin star quality.
We order from this JnN often, and always have a wonderful experience.
As a Texan, this is the ONLY BBQ restaurant that comes close to the pits back home.
Must try: … EVERYTHING! Huge portions of quality, smoked-in-house meats. Hickory.

Not Worth It! Eat at a Different BBQ Place! Not worth the price at all. Brisket sandwich looked like I got it from McDonald’s. Mac and cheese and baked beans were OK. Chicken tenders were all breading. They forgot my butter with the corn bread cheese muffins. Place was dead for dinner, should have been a red flag.

I was so impressed with the brisket. I smoke my own meat and I am very particular about my brisket. It was my brother in laws birthday so we were passing through and I let him pick his lunch. He chose bbq. I dont eat bbq out because I feel that mine is the best. But let me tell ya they nailed the brisket and the smoked wings were crispy and juicy. The staff were all friendly and pleasant and brought our food out so fast. Constancy is the manager their and she made a point to have a conversation not just,”everything come out alright”. She was top notch and I suggest anyone that reads this ask for her personally when you go to visit. We live 2 hrs away and if we are withing an hour I will drive out of my way to know I can get excellent brisket. Thx to all

This is a very well run location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone had a great attitude. We ordered the beef brisket and smoked turkey. Turkey was excellent and had a nice smoke ring. Brisket was pretty good. Some of the brisket had dried out a bit, but there were slices that were super tender and delicious. My wife had the collared greens. Nice flavor but slightly over salted. Overall, we had a great experience, and my wife told the manager how great the staff was.

Nashville BBQ is so bad that it takes a regional chain out of Alabama like Jim N Nicks to reign supreme. All the food and sides are solid and consistent. Pork always has a great char and rind and moist flavor. Brisket is the same. Cheddar biscuits are like a dessert. Alabama type slaw isn’t my favorite, but it’s not bad. Mac n cheese is solid. Beans and fries were good.

My husband and I were looking for a some good bbq and we stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was soooo goooood! Everything we ate had so much taste, I was a little nervous but we were SHOCKED! We love the collards so much we got extra one! The service was so nice, they were very attentive and friendly! The atmosphere was very chill! Don’t pass this gem up, it’s a must try!

We had an excellent experience at JNN! Definitely some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had. Both brisket & chicken were tender and flavorful. The beans were absolute best I ever had, the huge shreds of meat in the beans were a delicious bonus. Potato salad & deviled eggs great as well.
The service was also excellent! Staff was warm & welcoming from moment we walked through the door. A bright warm smile goes a long way! Our bar drinks were tasty & carefully created. We very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this Mallory Lane location.

I would say that my experience here was meh, not great but not terrible. For starters, the service wasn’t the greatest for we had three separate people dealing with our table for the first five minutes until our food came out, then they either disappeared or ignored us the whole time. No one came by to ask us how the food was or if we needed refills or anything. I would understand if the restaurant was busy and didn’t have time to check on us, but it was only us and one other table there. Also, the food was mediocre. Fries were too salty, sandwich was on the dry side, etc. I will say that their house salad was the best part of the meal and the atmosphere was quiet and clean. For the price it didnt feel worth it, and overall, 50/50 experience and am not sure if I would go back.
