Service was prompt. Server took my drink order only a few minutes after being seated. Then followed up with the meal order which showed up less than five minutes later. The server came by several times to check on me. I ordered the lean brisket plate with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. It came with three sweet corn muffins. Brisket was lean and quite tasty. Collard greens were prepared perfectly. Not overcooked and I did not taste sugar. The macaroni and cheese was a little bit off. Something about the cheese blend tasted creamy almost like mayonnaise, which I did not care for. The muffins were delicious. I’m afraid if you put 6 in front of me, I would eat them in 5 minutes. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will return.

We had a group of 8. Waitress did a good job on everything. I ordered a cheeseburger. It was cooked correctly. Seemed like a precooked and warmed up patty. Cheese was melts. Fries were hot but unseasoned. Would have appreciated a second basket of biscuits.

I’ve never eaten at Jim N Nick’s before but by far this was probably the best first experience I could’ve asked for. Jim N Nick’s is one of those places that just feels right the second you walk in. The smell of the bbq hits you immediately, the atmosphere is super chill, laid back, comfortable, and the food never misses honestly. The pulled pork is smoky and juicy, the ribs are fall off the bone good, and the sides actually taste homemade. And those cheese biscuits deserve all the hype (better than kfc imo) I could honestly make a meal out of just those. What stands out more than the food is the service but someone in particular that helped me and made my fish impression of this joint really spectacular. Trinity is an incredible worker and it shows. She’s always attentive, hardworking, and genuinely kind, no matter how busy it gets. You can tell she puts real effort into making sure everything runs smoothly and that every customer feels taken care of. She’s quick, professional, and still manages to bring a positive attitude and a smile, which honestly makes such a difference.
It’s rare to see someone who clearly takes pride in their job the way Trinity does, and she deserves a lot of appreciation for it. Employees like her are what keep people coming back. Jim N Nick’s is lucky to have her, and she truly makes the experience top-tier. 10/10 experience and you best believe I will be coming back

Awful service. Cold food. The staff look like they hate their life. Baked potato looked like it died three days ago. I got a piece of pie to go and it’s so small and missing about 1/4 pie and there was ZERO crust!

The best dish I tasted here was the house salad! This food is poor quality and tasteless. Cheeseburger was dry. Quarter chicken was bland, coleslaw was fresh. The loaded bake potatoes were dry. The chicken and brisket topping were bland and dry. The collard greens were salty. Cheese biscuits are a watered down version of a corn muffin with melted cheese on top. This place is a poor attempt of a barbecue restaurant.

I had a great experience at Jim ’N Nick’s thanks to the manager, Mr. Jeff. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. You can tell he really cares about both the customers and the restaurant. He took the time to make sure everything was right and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Managers like Mr. Jeff truly make a difference—highly recommend this location!

Awesome place to stop and eat. My wife and I came here for lunch and really enjoyed our time here. Restaurant is clean with plenty to look at, food came out quickly and the service was great. My wife got the Carolina style pulled pork sandwich, which she really enjoyed and I got the nachos which were good too. I definitely recommend coming in.

Combo plate. Ribs were Excellent! Brisket chili was fatty lukewarm and bland but got better towards bottom of the cup. Jalapeño sausage was overcooked but I’d give it another chance. Service was exceptional. Jasmine could’ve salvaged any quality concern but I didn’t bother to mention. Place seems well managed. Probs my just a slow day. Definitely would come back.

We called from our hotel and they said it’ll be 20 minutes. I got there right at 20 minutes and waited another 45 minutes as people kept coming in and picking up To Go Orders. The girl finally asked What my name was and I told her and she apologized, but I ordered a salad with ham and they didn’t have it so I had to substitute turkey and they had no deviled eggs which I ordered and found out when I showed up.
They did not give me any additional onion rings or anything for my 45 minute wait.
Was very disappointed in the service. In fact, a lady must’ve been watching me who had three grandchildren there with her husband and walked by me and said I’m really sorry they’re not very good. I think that says at all.
