When my salad arrived, my brisket was on the side and it was almost nothing but chopped up fat. I probably had one ounce of meat total attached to the fat. I chalked it up to me forgetting and didn’t ask them to take it back. The salad had fresh ingredients and the little cheesy corn muffins were really good.
This was a decent experience. My wife and I had our 10 year anniversary here tonight. The food was good, other than a couple taste preferences. The Cheddar Biscuits were definitely worth the visit. The sauce was vinegar based, which isn’t my forte. The staff were very friendly.
August 2023 Update:
Not sure if this place is always as bad of an experience that I had tonight, but it was bad. I ordered three kids meals and an adult entree with a side of cheese biscuits. Within 10 minutes, the adult entree arrives, 5 minutes later still no kids meals or biscuits. I flag down a worker and she said the cook is not making the food in the correct order. She said the rest will be out soon. Another ten minutes and the kids meals arrive, but no biscuits. I explained to the worker that brought out the kids meals that we are still missing the biscuits. She said they are cooking some and it will be another 10 minutes. 15 minutes go by and they are passing out biscuits to customers that arrived 30 minutes after we did. I called out to the worker that was bringing them out saying we have been told ours were going to come out and they were giving them out to others. She snapped back at me saying “We are working as a team and I will get them when I get them”, I was so confused. At this time there were other customers showing their frustration as well. I spoke to what seemed to be a manager, I explained that we’ve been waiting for well over 45 minutes for the biscuits and asked if we could get them To-go as we were almost done with our meals at this point. She was really great and told me she will grab them as they come out. Sure enough she was back with the biscuits in a To-go bag.
I surely hope this isn’t an everyday experience, as there seemed to be enough workers, minus the two that couldn’t stay off their phones when customers were waiting for the rest of their food.

Allison Endicott, Antonia Owens, and Justin McCartney reviews, spurred me to check it out. Brisket plate, potato salad, collard greens, Highlands Gaelic Ale. SHOCKINGLY good, Ms. Owens. Agreed. Best brisket in Acworth, Ms. Endicott. Agreed. McCartney, DRIVE THRU, yes!
11/13/16, counter guy, totally cool. Cashier, same. Trainee, lucky to be trained by counter guy. Bartender, Stacey- thanks, I tried all sauces, all perfect, while the combo of Jim n’ Nick’s and Espresso sauces was the best for me, too.
Melt in your mouth brisket.
Best BBQ ever, right up there with Santa Maria, CA style, one of the top briskets in ATL region or anywhere.
Good to the last drop, crumb, Remnant, all of it, even the buttery biscuits. Environment clean, cozy, well kept. Kitchen, same. People, same.
My idea of a perfect BBQ eatery.
