Have not been here for years, and very pleased to say things are just as good as they were 20 years ago. The bartender was fantastic and drinks especially the martinis were perfect. We had steaks, lamb chops and grilled chopped salad and they were cooked to perfection. It is nice to see the quality of service and food has stood the test of time and will definitely be back for more.

I have been doing a prime rib tour of the area for the past year. Gotta say, they have taken the lead. Excellent taste, tenderness, cooked to temperature, well priced. And they have it available every Friday and Saturday. Our server, Mandy, really knows how to hustle. It was quite busy. Hometown feeling where many know each other.❤️

This place is a gem. Old school steak house with impeccable service and great food! The atmosphere is something to treasure rather than critique.
Our table ordered 3 steaks(2 Filets, 1 NY Strip) and 1 chicken pot pie. All 3 steaks were cooked to perfection and the pot pie is something we all will crave!
Looking forward to our next meal here.

Driving thru from Newark airport. Got the Reuben. It didn’t list that the sandwich was open-faced which was disappointing and the Russian dressing mixed in with the sauerkraut was overwhelming and needed to be scraped off. I would suggest putting it on the side as I’ve never had an issue with Russian dressing when ordering elsewhere. I opted out of the fries and asked for a salad which the bartender ‘forgot’ to tell me was an upcharge when I showed her the price discrepancy on the menu. Seems like a nice little local hangout.

They do not season their meat. No salt. No pepper. My steak was overcooked and bland. Kinda like a low-salt hospital diet.
It’s old school. The liquor is good. The beer selection is Bud, Miller etc. The most flavorful beer is Guinness. But it’s cold.
Buffalo wings were spectacular. But in the end I ordered a $35 steak and only ate the baked potato and side salad. Pretty sure the broccoli was boiled.

I ordered a 12 oz. Steak and my cousin ordered a filet mignon. We both asked for medium well, but it came well done bordering on burnt. Since we never create a problem with serving staff or chefs we did not make a big fuss but pointed out to the server who was really nice. She gave us a piece of cheesecake as a consolation. We enjoyed the cake but left most of the steak. Hope this helps. Mistakes happen to everyone.
