Jim Deggys Serves Hand -Tossed, Brick- Oven, Wood-Fired, 11+ inch Personal sized Pizzas. Our Pizza’s are cooked at 700 degrees for two minutes in our rotating brick oven. Our Style is a good mixture between a Neapolitan and New York style pizza. Our crust is what most people love! We have a signature crust that is sweet, leopard appearance, and is light and airy. We have a 3x10BBL brewery on site and chose not to distribute so we can offer liquor, wine, and other types of beers. We offer flights of wine, cocktails, and beer We have events Wednesday – Saturday, just follow our Facebook page for updates

Food was excellent and atmosphere was great. We ordered the fried cheese bites, full robby pizza and the spicy boii bleu pizza & we’d order it all again. Olivia was a great server & took great care of us. Cool atmosphere and great quality food & drinks. Highly recommend.

My first time here and I love it! The pizzas were amazing and the dough was to die for. I ordered the flight of cocktails and they were all great; good for two or more people! Sydney was our server and she was quick, accommodating, and wonderful. She gave honest suggestions and made substitution recommendations and they were all great! Would come here again

Myself, my husband & 2 teenage daughters arrived for a late lunch around 1pm. Excited for pizza, upon walking in we were intrigue by the atmosphere & greeted promptly. Only 3 other tables were seated. There was once waitress & 2 cooks working.
The waitress was short tempered, & rushed. She never offered any suggestions on what to order, was impatient & short with her words when ordering drinks. We asked for a beer menu ( we never received it). We ordered wings, which were quite tasty, however we had to ask for silverware, which she replied how many do you want? Ordered pizza, very greasy,. We really did enjoy the wings.Had high expectations yet won’t be returning

Great pizza, i don’t like pizza but this place was great. It was fast really tasty, crunchy crust good flop, good selection of the toppings. Place has cool vibes live music and good selection of beer. Will definitely come again!!

Upbeat atmosphere, although it took awhile to get service and to be sat down, delivery of the food was prompt. The Quattro Formaggio was simply amazing, the cheeses and the sauce were delicious, and the crust was perfect. I would come back solely for this pizza. The wings were not it tonight, they were small and not quite good. Live music was a nice experience. Great location downtown but not in the mix of everything!

It’s date night. We usually stick to tried and true. 10 years, 2 kids… gotta make the most of our time. This was a new place for us, and it’s going on our tried and true list. Sydney took care of us (like Australia), and she was an absolute delight. Her drinks were a wonderful representation of the description on the menu. She was attentive and friendly and worth requesting. We both ordered pizza, as we should at a pizza place. Excellent taste and portions were more than acceptable. The atmosphere is super laid back. Family or date friendly, highly recommend!

Cool place. Great service by knowledge wait staff. Good drink options. Wish they had better barrel aged options. Pizzas are just silly good. They are happy to let you customize your order. They are a little stingy with some of the meat toppings IMO. The crust is really good. Looks to be whole wheat looking at color, but bubbled up like the best 00 flour does. Really beautiful pizzas. Fantastic flavor. Cheeses were nice as well. The Habanero cheese app was DELICIOUS . Hot enough without burning my mouth. Thanks for a great experience with our group of 9. We all enjoyed.

Good atmosphere, good service. I know Dave Portnoy wouldn’t approve of the pizza here, so I know it’s good. Had the Voodoo, Swamp Monster, and spinach and artichoke dip. Voodoo was great but the jalapenos lacked spice. Swamp Monster was perfect, and the appetizer was great but needed maybe one or 2 more pita chips.

Great beers. Loved our flight and look forward to trying their pizza. The band on Saturday night was very fun. They are at one end of Lafayette’s downtown strip across from the coffee house. There is paid and free street parking nearby.

We visited Jim Deggys on a crowded Friday night around 7pm. When we walked in we were asked if we wanted to sit at the bar since there was a wait for a table. We opted for the bar which turned out to be a great choice – we got seated right away with no wait.
For food we ordered the habanero cheese bites, voodoo pizza, pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings. Everything was delicious! The habanero cheese bites had just the right kick of heat. The voodoo pizza with its unique toppings was very tasty. A classic pepperoni pizza is always a good choice too. And the buffalo wings were perfectly sauced and crispy.
On the drink side we enjoyed the Blood Orange Beer and Pickle Gose Beer. Both were creative brews that complemented the food well.
The service at the bar was quick even though it was very busy. We had no problem getting our server’s attention when we needed something.
Overall we really enjoyed our experience at Jim Deggys. The food and beer selection is top-notch. I would highly recommend stopping in, especially if you get there around 7pm on a Friday – be prepared for a wait, but the bar is a great option. We will be back for sure!
