I use to come here all the time tonight me and my fiancé decided to get the shrimp tempura like always and the orange chicken .
We also tried something new called beef yaki udon everything was good until we got to that , the noodles were undercooked and no sauce what so ever just very disappointing especially for trying it for the first time

Small inside but great for takeout. Sushi is always fresh and ready quickly. Staff is friendly. I have only had the takeout sushi, never tried the Chinese or Hibachi entrees. I usually get my sushi w/ less sauce (see pictured). I suggest confirming which Roll has imitation crab vs lump crab so you are not disappointed.

Update: I bought steak teriyaki with fried rice and vegetables. I love the fried rice. I grew up eating fried rice. If you want authentic fried rice, this is the place to go.
If you are looking for a quiet place to eat, this is the place to go. I have never dine-in. Thus, I gave a rating of 3* to be neutral.
Update: I ordered Hibachi chicken and steak today. It is just perfect. The sauce on meat is not so sweet. Thus, I upgrade food category to 4*.
Again, I did not see customers in the dining area.

My husband and I like the sushi in this place. The salad dressing tasted homemade and not something out of a bottle.
I picked up the order at 1:00 pm. I did not see any customers eating in restaurant.
My husband likes their food. In fact, he wants to celebrate his Father’s Day at the restaurant. It will give me an opportunity to try their food one more time. I will provide an update.

I dined in with my daughter tonight and the experience was great. The dining area is really small but most people ordered carryout so we were the only ones. The staff were very friendly and even gave my daughter a snack on the way out. The food was seasoned perfectly. Who seasons rice like this!?! It was sooooo good. This was my first time going to JiBang. I’ve always driven past but never stopped in. Tonight changed everything. They are my new sushi spot.

We have eaten here for years, and we’re so grateful they exist, and made it though all the past years issues. Good sushi is hard to find! Real Japanese cuisine, I have mostly eaten the Dragon Roll myself. My girlfriend gets the tuna roll and Love tuna, it’s so purty! I eat mine too quickly to take a pic. I made her stop and take a pic before eating, lol. I also love the Seaweed salad, the Fried Sesame balls, and the Mango Mochi ice cream. Little portions, but so worth it!!! The service is amazing! I love the atmosphere, super chill. Great location because it’s easy to get to, and expressway access almost directly across the street. I have never eaten in, but I have been inside. I immediately felt relaxed and “anticigry” (hungry and you know and anticipate great food) You want delicious food, with awesome people making it, and support small business? Go here!

It’s probably closer to a 4.5, but I was impressed compared to some of the other sushi places in Maryland. They seemed short staffed for a lunch rush, but the waitress was nice. The prices were decent for special rolls, but what caught my attention was the size of the miso soup and the fact that the fish didn’t have an old fishy taste like it’s been sitting there forever. Definitely worth checking out. I liked the tuna love and yellowtail jalapeño rolls.

The lady at the front register was rude but the prices are decent. I ordered chicken katsu with fried rice and California roll with a side salad. The katsu sauce was terrible and the chicken itself was dry and unseasoned. The rice was the star tbh. I’ll not be reordering this from here. For good katsu I’ll go to lotte mart in Ellicott. The food I would say wasn’t worth it at all at Ji bang.

Upon entering there was trash and leaves inside. The staff was nice. I heard the food was good. Maybe it depends on what you order. Everything I had was bad to mediocre. Shrimp fried rice GREASY, Vegetable tempora ALMOST RAW, and Vegetable sushi was mediocre. Waste of money. I’m never going back there.
