Flavors that will surprise as well as satisfy! Lotus root appetizer was not what we expected but was delightfully delicious–a tad bit sweet. Cumin lamb and Peking duck were delicious. Definitely try one of their flavored teas, and if you’d like something stronger, BYO. Service is A+ too.

Went for a birthday celebration and just did family style eating. The wait staff was attentive and very present. Some individual plates were extremely small and if I went there by myself or with a party of two I would be disappointed but because we all ordered a bunch of food I was satisfied. We also bought our own wine and tequila which was nice because they also sell it. Good teas and drinks. I really loved the coconut shrimp. Gratuity was not included (and it was a table of 12) which I liked because that always feels forced. The bill (split between 11, not 12) was $78 per person so not bad for the area.

Me and my wife always want to try this place since we go to a near y chiropractor and we finally did the food wasn’t that good but the worst was the service , we got there the place was full and the only ones was serve a tea in a regular glass cup was us everyone else table which was all Asia was serve in a beautiful Chinese cup and jug . Obviously we noticed the attention was fully for their race no one came to our table to see if we need anything else . Very big disappointment. We went to 5 star restaurant in china town and was served equally like every other race . Ashamed this situation happened in a Restaurant. Best of luck but how we view they have specific preferences customers .

The restaurant has been my favorite in Jersey city for a long time. I come here at least three times per month. The food is really good and I highly recommend the crab rice and their milk tea. 10/10 atmosphere and service!

Love the fish here! The service is extraordinary and inclusive here. Came back again for the fourth time. Many tables and is always surprise with the good food. Amazing place with nice ambiance and service. Best Chinese food so far in JERSEY CITY. Recommend

I am extremely disappointed with the food quality here. We ordered a fish dish that cost an outrageous $86, but what we got was a complete disaster. It was incredibly salty. To make matters worse, some fish was falling apart; the meat was scattered and looked really bad.
For a restaurant that charges these kinds of premium prices, this level of quality is unacceptable. It felt like a total scam. I will never come back to Jiangnan NJC again.

Really surprised there are several kinds of beverages here, and the bobo milk tea is good too! Best Chinese’s food in Jersey City. Came back for the third time. Re-visit three times and is always satisfied with the service and food. High quality food that satisfies both flavor and portion. Highly recommended.

I came here on valentines day and it was quite busy but the service was still great. The dishes are all very flavorful but we definitely should have ordered a bowl of rice to cut down the oil. The Peking duck is always a go to order for special occasions and it was surprisingly sweeter than expected but still good. The passion fruit drink was definitely worth its value. I’d want to come back to try their other drinks. We were also served free desserts at the end and they were delicious!

We’ve been at Jiangnan NJC a few times and we’ve greatly enjoyed every visit! The combination of fantastic hospitality, exceptionally efficient service, fantastic food, and a perfect ambience.
The Cumin Lamb is very well presented and delightfully flavorful, the Kung Pao Chicken with pieces of Bamboo shoots was a unique take, and the Chicken and Mushroom dumplings are tasty and wonderfully soupy. We found the Crispy Shrimp with honey walnuts to be novel but a bit too sweet for our liking. The Creme Brulee was tasty and a bit sifferent (not like what we’ve had before elsewhere).
The maitre d at this location is particularly amazing and her ability to manage the demand on a Friday evening with a smile was admirable. Highly recommend!
