First off the food and atmosphere was amazing. Best authentic food I’ve ever experienced. Igor seen I was struggling with the iPad and quickly came over and helped me navigate it and suggest some of his favorites on the menu and made the most amazing drinks. He ended up serving us the entire time because no one else approached us free. We had such a great time. Made the lunar parade day the best time. Worth the wait on the busiest day of the year

really great service! we arrived 45 minutes late to our reservation and they still were able to seat us within 10 minutes. food was great all around, with the duck and beef brisket w potatoes as highlights. the string beans were also very solid. complimentary cabbage was quite tasty. clean, fast, and delicious!

We visited on New Year’s Eve, and even though the restaurant was crowded and clearly very popular, there was surprisingly no waiting time at all.

We ordered the full-sized Peking duck, which was absolutely fantastic. It came with scallions, cucumber, pineapple, white sugar, and their special house sauce, along with 20 pancakes for wrapping the duck—more than enough to enjoy every bite.

We also tried several vegetarian dishes, including shredded cabbage (手撕包菜), fried pumpkin, and baby bok choy (娃娃菜). Every dish was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared.

A special shout-out to the complimentary pickled cabbage—it was delicious and such a thoughtful touch.

Overall, everything was excellent, from the food to the efficiency of the service. We loved every dish and would definitely come back again.

Truly worthy of it’s Michelin recognition. Their food is bursting with flavor, and I got to try quite a lot of it. Everything taste vastly different but delicious in their own right. I recommend their beef dishes the most! The atmosphere was beautiful and stylish. The service was great, pretty attentive, and patient.

My only slight concern is the size of the menu, it’s huge, and a little confusing to navigate on their tablets; it took my friends and around 10 minutes to decide what we wanted. So that was a little overwhelming, but I can’t complain too much about having a large selection 🙂 Also, I’m not fully sure they allow you to split the check so just keep that in mind.

Overall I highly recommend, this is really a gem of a restaurant!

Hands down, this was the best meal we had in NYC, and we just happened to stumble across it. I’m so glad we did—especially after eating at several “recommended” places that were honestly disappointing. This spot completely blew us away.

The bartender was incredible, and you could tell he took real pride in his craft cocktails—he even came over to our table to make sure everything was perfect. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely focused on making sure we had an amazing experience.

Choosing from the menu was tough because everything looked so good. We ended up ordering the soup dumplings, bacon claypot rice, sweet and sour pork (perfectly breaded), green beans (my personal favorite—and my husband even ate them, which is rare!), and the kung pao chicken, which was absolutely to die for.

The lychee martini was fantastic, and the old fashioned was one of the best we had during our entire trip.

I would fly back to NYC just to eat here again. Absolutely phenomenal.

Heard great things about this place and their Peking duck and finally decided to come.

We came during lunch time and the place wasn’t too busy. The interior was nice and they had iPads for ordering which was convenient. The service on the other hand needs work. We ordered multiple dishes and the food was dropped off at the table, besides that no staff checked in on us afterwards.

The food was ok, the duck wasn’t the highlight of the dishes we had, but the tofu and the shrimp was pretty good. The cauliflower was also nicely made.

Fun atmosphere but very packed on a Monday afternoon, which speaks to its popularity. Lucky we had what looked to be the last table available. Had the best soup dumplings here. Very fresh with thin wrappers. Broth was tasty too. The spicy black fish was bold and flavorful, super delicious. The sizzling cumin lamb was crazy good. Highly recommend if you like that flavor profile — cumin, cilantro, hot peppers. Don’t miss out on the free cabbage dish. Looks deceptively simple, but like everything else, packed with wonderful flavors. It’s spicy with a nice hint of sesame oil, and all the ingredients were super fresh and crunchy. I added that into my to-go bag so i didn’t let it go to waste! Cocktail drinks were alright. Definitely very strong and gorgeous to look at, but what I got didn’t have much flavor besides straight up baijiu. I liked how the menu was all on an iPad with pictures of each dish. And when you’re ready, a wait staff comes to your table immediately to confirm your order and asks for any allergies. Quite efficient. Would come back again!

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner. We’ve been wanting to come here for a while, and it was definitely worth the wait. Everything we ordered was so delicious. We got the half duck, crab and pork soup dumplings, and green beans. We also got the passion fruit cocktail and lychee mangosteen martini. Both drinks were also amazing

The menu here is very extensive and everything looked really good. We’re definitely coming back in the future to try more things.

Authentic Sichuan flavors done right. The la zi ji was perfectly crispy with a bold, fragrant heat, and the mapo tofu was rich, silky, and deeply flavorful without being overly greasy. You can tell they don’t water down the spice. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience felt warm and welcoming.

Absolutely amazing experience at Jiangnan!
The grilled fish was the highlight — super flavorful, perfectly spicy, and full of aroma. The broth was rich without being overwhelming, and the fish was tender and soaked up all the seasoning. Every bite was delicious.

The stir-fried cabbage was surprisingly good too.
fresh, crunchy, and full of wok aroma. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside and packed with juicy, savory filling.

Great atmosphere, fast service, and consistently great dishes. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended.
