This was our first time visiting. The food was good and the waitress was polite, but the billing practices were very concerning.
We were never told there would be a $10 entertainment fee per person. It appeared on the bill after we ordered. The receipt showed a $137.92 subtotal, $10.23 tax, and $27.58 gratuity, with a balance due of $181.88, but even using their own numbers, $137.92 + $10.23 + $27.58 = $175.73, not $181.88.
Also, the menu states an 18% gratuity, but 18% of $137.92 is $24.83, not $27.58.
When we questioned this, we were told the higher amount was due to paying with a card instead of cash, which was not disclosed upfront and not itemized and we were not even offered the option to pay in cash. The entertainment fee appeared twice, so $20 was removed, and we were told to pay the full $30 entertainment fee in cash, which we did. There were 3 of us and not 2 so since that money is supposed to go to the band, we didn’t mind. The adjusted card total was $144.25.
Even after the adjustments, the numbers still didn’t reconcile cleanly. This could be a great place, but undisclosed fees and inaccurate billing make it hard to trust. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

My wife and I went to Jewlz for our monthly date night and it was amazing. We had an amazing experience. The food, drinks and music was everything we wanted and more! We got oxtail and salmon rasta pasta. It was delicious and the drinks were strong. Our server Sasha was so sweet and helpful. She gave us helpful recommendations and if you come here ask for her! She was truly a delight.

This was my first time visiting this past weekend after hearing so many good things from friends and family — and they weren’t lying! The food and atmosphere were excellent, and I even had the chance to meet the owner and her daughter, who warmly introduced themselves to me and our NS Jeepers group which she is a Sis’ Jeeper as well!
I really enjoyed the drinks, food, energy, and overall vibe. I’ll definitely be going back, and I highly recommend you stop by and experience it for yourself!

First time at this lounge. We went on a Saturday night and it was definitely a vibe. This place didn’t get over crowded and the dj was on point! The drinks were strong and the prices for the food/drinks were very reasonable. We sat at the bar and the hookah was as mounted to the tabletop which caused issues with sharing and eating since the hose was so thick and we couldn’t move the hookah out the way. The hookah was very hard to pull even after it was adjusted. The food was decent but the fries need a little more seasoning and the chicken tasted old or refried. Overall it was a good time and I would come back but I would like to see improvement on the food and hookah especially since hookah is starting off at $40.

PSA do not get the sampler! It’s not worth it at all. $70 for a single portion. After we asked if it’s enough to share, how much food comes with it. The young lady proved inaccurate information. So we sent it back quick. They attempted to fix it by added a few more plantains and a chicken leg lol.
We got the jerk wings, jerk burger and curry goat. Definitely good. Now I can make curry goat better but I’m not mad at the flavors.

I don’t take pleasure in leaving this review, but I hope it helps someone or the company make some changes. We spent a total of $80 for two take out meals. I had the oxtail meal and my husband had the curry goat meal. We wanted to support them again but were highly disappointed in the food portion to price ratio. Both plates came with white rice and not the normal rice and peas, which is a lot cheaper so that should’ve been reflected in the price. Our plates had small portions of cabbage and the oxtails specifically were tiny, but the white rice was over half the meal. My husband was greeted upon arrival and our food was ready when we got there. I feel taken advantage of and I don’t like that.

My question is what are they doing for these excessive customer disputes. Their going around warning everyone else except themselves. Uber driver, walk in customers, food order customers etc. Nothing about Cashier or management. Its either You have female cashiers flirting with male management to get away with things or female management allowing staff to have freedom.

CONS: For some, it could be deemed somewhat expensive ($12 to $40 food & $10 to $20 drinks). The food also came out mid-warmth.
PROS: Waitress (Nina) was attentive. Bar tender (Brie) came around to greet us, voluntarily. We informed our waitress that the food was barely warm. She took it back, heated it, AND gave us a drink each, on the house! I have never seen customer service like that. Wife had brown stew chicken & the meat fell off the bones effortlessly. The taste was savory; immaculate. I had jerk wings/fries. The sauce was not real jerk. My food was satisfactory.
As far as alcohol, I had the ‘Bob Marley’ & wife had the rum punch. Both were strong & we instantly knew they soaked the fruit in OverProof Rum. The music was outstanding; it was a nice mixture. Majority of the music was dancehall.

I hate to give 3 stars but it’s only because our food took almost 2 hours to come out because this was on the night of a special Delta sorority event and it was very crowded, I don’t think the kitchen could keep up with the amount of orders since it’s a fairly new place . The ambiance was very nice and the owner was awesome and helpful especially my food was cold when it finally came out but it tasted very good , the owner reheated my food for me , it was a big portion too
The drinks are very strong here as well . I had a great time with friends , it’s just food took forever and we were starving . My appetizer came out after my meal was almost gone , I do not recommend the tostones they have zero taste and should not be on the menu. But I will be back just hopefully on a night the food is coming out timely .
