I was passing through town and decided to stop here for breakfast, and I’m so glad I did. The lady who helped me was genuinely pleasant and welcoming — the kind of small-town kindness that immediately makes you feel at home.
The place itself has that perfect local coffee shop vibe — cozy, relaxed, and full of charm. You can tell it’s the kind of spot where the regulars know each other’s names.
I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The bacon was thick, crunchy, and cooked just right — not soggy like you get at a lot of places. Everything tasted fresh and made with care.
I’ll admit, what first got me to stop was the need for a clean restroom — and theirs did not disappoint. It was spotless, which says a lot about how well they take care of the whole place. But I stayed for the food and left impressed.
If you’re passing through, don’t just fill up your gas tank — stop here for a meal. You’ll be glad you did!

We ordered drip coffee and breve, with a raspberry bun. Breve was lukewarm but the drip coffee and raspberry bun were both excellent.

Went there to buy freshly roasted coffee beans. Asked for their best shot of espresso. It was pretty smooth but definitely too bitter. I’ll go back to try again though. Really cool place to have some coffee and hang out.

A welcoming and surprisingly busy place that is much bigger on the inside than I’d expect. There’s plenty of room to sit and enjoy the food and beverages this establishment has to offer. I always like to get a latte at a new place to really try the coffee – and it passed the test! It wasn’t bitter and tasted great! I definitely want to go back!

Blown away! I stopped in this morning, staff was so helpful and sweet. I ordered an almond morning bun, absolutely delicious. Flaky, buttery, so much almond flavor. I also got a peppermint mocha and it was fabulous, creamy but not too sweet. This will be my new go-to.

I love this Star Prairie coffee shop so much! Kind staff, fantastic coffee and breakfast items available. I typically get a half sweet med hot maple latte, and their pesto breakfast sandwich. Fun local products/iems to browse for purchase. Love getting a sunny window spot to work/read or visit with someone, or enjoy local musicians playing on a weekday. A gem
