As soon as you walk into this place you feel like you’re close to the ocean… The smell inside says seafood… You can also buy souvenirs and fresh seafood from here as well to take home and cook… I ordered mahi-mahi I thought the portions were quite small for the price I think it could have been a bit bigger with the fish but otherwise it was very flavorful and the service was good and the atmosphere was nice and I also bought a tie-dye Jewel City seafood t-shirt for my beautiful fiancee.

We’ve been hearing great things about JCS for quite a while, so finally decided to try it out for my 40th birthday. Unfortunately, it wasn’t nearly as great as we had heard. The only food that came out hot were the sides, and while I heard the coleslaw was good, the parsley potatoes (potato) and red beans and rice were not. Glad we finally tried it, but not likely to head back.

They have the best inland seafood. Crab legs were hot and fresh tasting, as was the oysters. Fried green tomatoes and dipping sauce were delicious. They have a cute historic upstairs waiting area that has original woodwork and pictures of the house and local community from long ago. It’s worth every penny for a full belly.

If you’re a seafood lover like my family and I, then you MUST go check them out!! Excellent food, great service. Restaurant is a tad small, and they stay pretty busy. Parking isn’t good, it’s downtown so that is expected. They offer daily specials, which is really nice. Food is super fresh. I recommend it!

Everything about this place was wonderful. The food was great, fish and chips, everything was very clean, not very big but still with plenty of room. Our waiter, Zack,was so nice, patient, and happy. He has wait service down to an art. He wasn’t overwhelming but always there exactly when we needed him. We will definitely be going back.

Finally a place in Huntington that serves Fried Zucchini!!! The crab legs were amazing too! It is super small inside but my husband and I got to eat upstairs and we prefer it. It’s nice up there. And we love the music they play !

I don’t get down here often but I have never had a bad experience here. I have had everything from salmon to whitefish to calamari and I don’t think I have ever had a bad meal or bad service here.

Its our first time eating here and the food is absolutely delicious. They cook the seafood just right where its not overcooked and rubbery. Its just perfectly cooked. Great quality of food, great selections and great staff. We definetly will come back

We had lunch here and loved the crab legs! I read reviews that the hush puppies were delicious but they were good, nothing to write about. Didn’t try the crab cakes but next time. Crab legs were delicious!
