Elegant restaurant featuring a set-price menu of imaginative French dishes, plus a la carte options.

Food has been consistently good and full of nice surprises. Service is also excellent. All the ingredients and sauce in each dish compliment each other very well. They change the menus often throughout the year and it’s a collaboration from different chefs to come up with the best tasting dishes for each season. The bonus bites were very good, some of them didn’t taste like how they looked! We were genuinely surprised while enjoying those. The rolls were made fresh in house and served hot, sooo soft and tasty! I’ve been here twice so far and will certainly be back again.

Party of 2 went for dinner on a weekend in November. We had a 7pm reservation made a week in advance, and were seated on the patio. They have heaters. We had the standard 4-course meal each. I had a milk punch and really liked the rum. My friend had the beverage pairing and thought the sake paired with the cod was really strong but the rest of the beverages weren’t that great. For food, I had the tartare, pigeonneau, porc, and chocolat. They were all good, especially liked trying the squab. But the quantity was always low. Apart from the 4 courses, they also served warm bread, a very little starter with caviar, and some extra dessert (chocolate balls) at the end. Still wouldn’t recommend building an appetite for this meal. All the food put together doesn’t make for a full meal, I’d say. You’re going here for the presentation and the fancy experience. Good place to go if you’re looking to use your 150 discount from Chase Sapphire Reserve.

Environment
Modern, Instagram-friendly interior rather than a classic French fine-dining space. Outdoor seating was quite noisy due to passing cars and honking.
Food
• TARTARE (Lamb Tartare) – Apple and beet on top with mustard and mayo underneath. The beet–mustard combination was interesting, but the lamb itself was fairly ordinary.
• CANARD (Duck) – The skin and sauce were both overly salty, which overwhelmed the dish.
• TRUITE (Deer Meadow Trout) – A pleasant surprise. Extremely crispy skin, very tender fish. The truffle sauce leaned salty, but the gooseberries added bright acidity that lifted the dish. Lemongrass on the skin made it stand out.
• AUTOMNE (Dessert) – I’m biased when it comes to desserts. I love sweets, so dessert is always my favorite.
Service & Experience
Dined alone for my birthday and received a handwritten birthday card signed by the entire staff. Every server wished me a happy birthday — genuinely warm and thoughtful.
Conclusion
Given the price, this restaurant is very worth visiting, especially for celebrations. Excellent service and strong emotional value, though some dishes lean salty. Not a place to be overly picky about seasoning, but a great choice for special occasions.

An exceptional experience that is worth every dollar and the patience required for a reservation. From start to finish, everything from the service to the background of the dishes to the little treats in between, it was all very special. Surprisingly unpretentious with a modern yet elegant vibe. Deserves all the praise that it gets and has us looking forward to trying their other restaurants!

I highly recommend putting this place as a top priority on your list if you’re considering fine dining in San Diego.
The food, service, and atmosphere are exceptional! Hard to give any critiques to this place.
My highlight is that their drink pairings to the menu are some of the best I’ve ever had. Their wine pairing is very good, but their non-alcoholic drink pairings are made in house. I can’t recommend giving it a try because it’s so unique compared to other places and it complements the food so well!

I won’t go into detail about each dish we ordered from the 4 course menu because I know they change them often but I cannot recommend Jeune et Jolie enough!! We celebrated my husbands birthday here and from the second we arrived til we left, they made it so special.
Each staff member was incredible at explaining the dishes and the flavor profiles. We chose to add the beverage pairing – one regular and one non-alcoholic to accompany each course and were so impressed with how much we loved every drink brought to us.
It’s definitely pricey but completely worth every penny. Sit on the patio – it’s super cute.

A magical evening! We celebrated my partner’s birthday, and the team at Jeune et Jolie made everything feel special — from warm congratulations to a lovely chef’s compliment. Every dish was incredible, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had!

Had an amazing 10 year anniversary with my wife here. Every dish was popping with flavor, and the service was top-notch. We got to sit outside – beautiful ambiance with trees and string lights overhead. The scallops from the raw bar offer a stunning and delectable fusion of flavors, which we really enjoyed alongside oysters. Other standout dishes include the squab and wagyu (pictured). The milk bread was a surprisingly lovely taste between dishes – the meyer lemon zest on the butter gave such a nice flavor twist. We cant wait to come back and try other dishes. Thank you to the chefs and staff!

Overall, I’d rate the experience a 3.5 out of 5. The seafood platter was the highlight of the meal, but the courses that followed were less impressive (nothing to write home about). Things picked up again with dessert, which ended the evening on a better note. If you enjoy wine, they do have a great selection. While it was still an interesting experience (due to the 1-star fame), I don’t plan on returning.

We chose Jeune et Jolie for our anniversary dinner, and it was such a memorable experience. This is not your typical night out, it’s a curated culinary journey. We went with the four-course prix fixe menu and were impressed with the creativity and elegance of each dish. The halibut with vanilla foam absolutely blew me away (who knew that combination could work?), and the pigeon with leek quiche was equally interesting and delicious. Each plate looked like a piece of art, and the flavors were so thoughtfully balanced. The service was excellent, and the ambiance felt elevated without being stuffy. Also, I have to give a special shoutout to the bread…it was warm, fresh, and completely addictive. This is the kind of place where you go to treat yourself, celebrate something special, or simply enjoy a beautifully prepared meal. Highly recommend for a romantic evening or a foodie adventure.
