In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. Along with his brother and partner John, they opened the doors to Jetts Party Shoppe & Pizzeria in Sterling Heights, MI. The pizza world would never be the same. They were about to make history by offering a truly, better pizza. And now, over 40 years later, we’re at the top of the list when it comes to crave and taste. Try an authentic Detroit-Style pizza today. Only at Jet’s.
Counter-serve chain offering Detroit-style pizza with flavored crusts, plus wings & subs.

The place is obviously designs for pure pick-up and/delivery, since there is no eating area anywhere in or out of the building. H9wever, that was probably the only real bad thing about this place.
They got this lunch slice combo special that just rocks. Two slices of pizza and a soda for under 10 bucks. As for those slices? THICK square slices, and they sit in the gut for a while. Fills you right up.
Seriously surprised not many hit this place up for lunch, it’s an amazing deal.
Recently however, we waited over 1.5 hours for our order of 3 pizzas. Our office is only 10 mins away from their store. 1 pizza was slightly burnt (crust and toppings). We checked and confirmed that it was not the delivery driver’s fault.
I understand that there could be many reasons for why this happened (short staffed, new staff, etc.). I hope that the owner/managers take effort to mitigate these issues in the future.
The driver arrived two hours after I placed the order and apologized right away, which I appreciated. However, waiting twice the quoted time with little communication from the store is unacceptable.
The pizza itself was fine, but the overall experience was frustrating. I hope they improve their delivery coordination and communication, because no one should have to wait two hours for a pizza.
I called in my order for pick up to make things more convenient for everyone. While waiting, I talked to Zack, the owner of the franchise, and he was very receptive to me conducting a review. He explained that there was no seating in the restaurant at the moment because of supply issues, but he assured me that there would be ample dine in space in the near future.
I ordered the 8 corners pie with extra sausage and extra mushrooms for a friend, and I ordered the Jet 10 pie for myself (all the veggies and pepperoni). Both pizzas were hearty, but be prepared to spend some coin because this pizza has the full regalia of crust and toppings.
I will do a proper review when they get some seating. I think once they get that in place for the lunch rush and dine in with a fountian drink machine, it will be a solid go-to for decent pizza. Thanks, Zack, for being bold to change up the pizza game in the area.
As far as the pizza was concerned, it was thick and bready. The flavor of the pizza was missing. It was so bland and flavorless. I’ve never experienced this with a pizza before.
Finally, I paid (with tip) nearly $60 for two (2) medium round pizzas. Totally overpriced. Lesson learned as I will not be back.
