In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. Along with his brother and partner John, they opened the doors to Jetts Party Shoppe & Pizzeria in Sterling Heights, MI. The pizza world would never be the same. You can count on jets to provide consistent quality. They are one of the Detroit Style pizzas that give the cheese sauce caramelized edges. They provide a 4 corner pizza so there are two edges on each thick crust piece to enjoy. Certainly a recommended pizza.

Came in 20 minutes after ordering pizza, paid and they told me it would be another 5 minutes. 15 minutes goes by I asked where my pizza was and then they said it would be 5 to 7 more minutes. Waited another 10 minutes , no pizza. Asked to speak to the manager he said he had an extra cheese pizza and could put my toppings on there so it would get done quickly. I said no thank you and wanted a refund. He said the transaction was voided, problem is I paid cash. After arguing with him another couple minutes he gave the money back. Incompetent store. I recommend Jets on Bay Road, great location.

I placed a order online at 8:12. At 9:20 I started to think even though its Halloween it has never taken this long. I called up to the store after checking that I had a email confirmation. They said the delivery driver was out with it but they would call him and call me back. They have the delivery driver call me back and tell me he delivered the pizza to me at my apartment complex for the person upstairs. I told him theres no apartment building here. This is a house, we have been waiting to start our movie keeping all the lights on for them. He tells me he needs to get his manager. Ethan comes to the phone and says, I’ve heard his story, now I want to hear yours. Its going over his head that the delivery driver took the pizza somewhere it didnt belong. I explain it again. He repeats about a apartment building thats not on this street. Tells me I put the wrong address in the system, I can see it in the email as my correct adddess. And he tells me he’s not sure what to do, he’s gonna have to get in touch with his GM. I ask what he means, like how about send another pizza out and he tells me it will be his job. I asked if he was kidding. He wasnt. I asked to speak to someone above him, he laughed like a psycho and said theres nobody above him. He hung up on me. I do not have any email saying theres a return. I had to call a saginaw store and ask them to help me. I will never order from this place again as long as Ethan is employed here. No dinner for us. Thanks Bay City Jets.

11-16-25 approx 2pm. Friendly service . But 8 corner bbq chicken pizza was just ok. Its usually excellent so we were disappointed. Most slices had 2 pieces of chicken and such a small amount of BBQ sauce that you couldn’t tell it was even there. It cost $19 . And that was with a $5 coupon. It was a large not an extra large. Had such a taste for it and it turned out to be a big bummer.

On Wednesday I ordered a pizza and waited the 25 minutes they suggest before picking up my pizza. I get there and they tell me something broke and my pizza was just put in the oven and it will be another 5-6 minutes. I decide to stay in the store to wait, while I was waiting two of the workers started fighting with each other. The third had to tell them to stop. They stopped for a couple of minutes before going back at it. One of the workers shouted at the other to “go home if you don’t want to work”. The third worker who was on the phone which I’m assuming was to fix whatever went down had to again tell them to stop. I get that things happen but I ended up waiting another 15 minutes. No one gave me any updates during those 15 minutes, which I understand things happen but a little acknowledgement would have been nice. I didn’t even get an apology for the wait. I again get that things happen but I will no longer be waiting in the store for my pizza ever again! Weird atmosphere!

The restaurant was very clean we did an online order and it was very easy to place… good service, they kept us informed on wait times once we arrived to the store for pickup, the only small complaint I would have is that they are very expensive compared to other Pizza Places so we only get Jets on Vacation as a treat!

I placed an online order for pickup and the pizzas were ready on time. What impressed me most was witnessing the teamwork of the staff. My pick up was during the dinner rush and the staff was flying around working their tales off. At a time when we hear no one wants to work or the perceived belief that the younger generation is lazy, I can tell you that is not the case at the Bay City Jets. Thanks team!

We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 bread sticks. We found a bug Baked into the crust of our pizza. When we called to tell them, they told us that “well that’s not possible. We don’t have bugs in our kitchen so…”
Basically placing the blame on us for having a BUG. BAKED. into our pizza. He was not friendly at all. Said he wasn’t sure what we wanted them to do about it. We finally received a refund after retelling about the bug and telling them we would bring it back to show them. Do not recommend.
