I called my order in at 6:03pm. I ordered a small deep dish cheese pizza extra pizza sauce turbo crust, and I said a large deep dish special pizza add ground beef, add banana peppers and pineapples on half and 2 things of ranch. The young lady told me banana peppers came on the pizza I was like oh okay. I get there and theres a line then a man in front of me order 3 pizzas. I step up and pay for my pizza she says a small cheese pizza and an Eugene supreme, I instantly look up to see what come on that I tell her thats not what I wanted I said a special add banana peppers but I’ll take the Eugene supreme, she looks at me no apologize or nothing. When I paid it was 6:27pm, 6:35pm roll around and me and another man asked about our food the young lady that was Caucasian spoke to us we both told her we place our order over the phone and was told 15 minutes, she replies I dont know why y’all was told that we’re busy. It seem like they was making all the door dash and Uber eats orders first because they was placing them in the warming away from the counter and calling those orders first, it was a good 6 workers in the kitchen area yes I counted. Then what makes my experience worse the man that placed his order in front of me in line received his 3 pizzas before I got mines at this point I’m steaming. My daughter and grandson is in a running car burning gas. Then my order came up at 6:50pm and they place my ranch in my pizza box with my small pizza when I been watching them place other customers ranch in a paper bag. My ticket number was 132 I paid 39.72 and the clerk name says julisa. So going forward make sure people order is what they said and if your busy say the correct wait time it would’ve been fine saying 30 to 40 minutes or even an hour it was freezing cold in y’all business so I could’ve dropped my daughter and grandson off at home and came back. I have came to this jets several times and this is by far thee worst experience I have ever had.

Jet’s online ordering is one-off, but we got it done. Food was hot, but not ready when I showed up! Pickup person was made to wait “5 minutes” but when pizza was ready no one moved to make sure the wait was minimal. Still sat and waited until I inquired aloud. Did not order pineapples on my pizza but got pineapples sooooo…there’s that!

Ordered a 4 corner deep dish… picked up a heart shaped pizza. I’m glad I checked the box before I left the store because the cashier wasn’t going to say anything. Her explanation was “We ran out of smalls”…

So now I’m questioning whether or not their dough is made fresh daily at this location (Jet’s claims all their regular dough is made fresh every day, but companies do lie). Was this heart shape from Valentine’s day two days? How do you “run out of smalls” if the crust isn’t prebaked in the pan? Because even if the dough isn’t fresh, aren’t they at least pressing the dough into the right sized pan upon order?

I need answers! lol

Ulitmately was hungry and my lunch break was winding down, so I didn’t have time to wait or contest this. But I specifically wanted deep dish with crispy cheesy edges and corners, and the heart shape pizzas are just regular with regular crust. I never order round regular pizza at Jet’s.

So that was a disappointment.

I was very disappointed to know that when I ordered my Jet 10 Pizza that it came in round because it wasn’t a large. I ordered a medium. Not the same at all. I miss the crisp cheesy edges. Not to mention all the big air pockets in the round crust. Not a happy camper.

I went here for a deep dish pie on December 11, 2025, and received excellent customer service from Quan!! He was very friendly and accommodating.

Not all Jet’s Pizza locations in Michigan are the same and this one in Ferndale is one of the best around and worth the drive!!

1st complaint:

Waited 10 minutes until someone showed up to the counter. Couldn’t find my order then I said DoorDash pickup and they needed my phone to confirm. So I went back to my car to grab my phone and had to wait in another line for another 5 minutes for her to help me again. I could see my pizza it was ten feet away the whole time. I get food here all the time so the service was odd.

Newer second complaint on 9/9/24:

Ordered through door dash this time and had a large build your own delivered. Upon receiving it, I noticed the pizza appeared small. I called Jets and asked how many slices in this pizza and they said 8. I told them there is 6 slices only. She didn’t believe me and asked that I bring it back. So I had to drive to jets to show them the pizza was not correct and when I showed the owner, Ms. Tyson, she said either I am lying and ate the slices missing or the door dash driver ate the two slices before bringing it to me.

I did not want to touch the pizza because it was tampered with and they refused to make me another one even after I gave them the previous pizza back.

They told me to go through Door dash for refund.

Customer service here is terrible. The owner lacks knowledgeable insight on treating their customers. I have been ordering pizza here since 2017 twice per month. This Jet’s pizza has lost its ability to serve the community with dignity and respect, making customers feel like thieves cheating the system (for two extra slices?????????!!)

I did argue with her at the counter which I wish I could take back, however, considering the inconvenience I had been through for a $31 pizza delivery that I had to drive back to the store to provide evidence (that was denied) it was warranted. The owner, Ms. Tyson, then THREATENED ME stating the location is under video surveillance and that she called the police on me.

I will never ever come back to this location as they are rude and I believe the owner was discriminating against me.

the owner Sandy is rude as hell, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. They never make the food how you ask them to will be my last time spending money here. I asked for my slices to be well done & with butter and parm. Neither was done

Refused to take our payment over the phone, ive been going to Jets for years and they acted like they didnt have my info on file. The guy who took our order was super rude. Told us we had to pay in person and wait “10 minutes” but if you’ve been here before, you’ll know you’d have to wait at least 25 minutes. Won’t be going back, plenty of other places that know how to run a real business.

I would give less stars if I could. They sent me the WRONG pizza. Then didn’t answer the phone for me to get a replacement or a refund. I ordered a jets 10 with out black olives and got this monstrosity of a pizza saturated in mayonnaise. Some may like this but I am not one of them. If I wanted this pizza, I would have ordered it. I Will NOT be ordering from here again. EVER!!
– My money may be good enough for them but they are not good enough for my money.

Went here for Valentine’s day. I ordered the heart pizzas. I also ordered the antipasto salad. They were good. Decent size for the price. It was crowded most likely because of the day but they got us in and out.
