In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. Along with his brother and partner John, they opened the doors to Jetts Party Shoppe & Pizzeria in Sterling Heights, MI. The pizza world would never be the same. They were about to make history by offering a truly, better pizza. And now, over 40 years later, we’re at the top of the list when it comes to crave and taste. Try an authentic Detroit-Style pizza today. Only at Jet’s.

I’ve given this store a few chances since they’re new, but the consistency just isn’t there. The last time I ordered a Buffalo pizza, it was loaded with so many onions that’s all you could taste. The time before that, there was so much Frank’s hot sauce and barely any ranch—it was completely off balance.
This time I ordered a BBQ pizza, and they put the BBQ sauce under the cheese and then drenched the top with even more. It was like eating BBQ bread. I used to get Jet’s Pizza all the time in Michigan, never had an issue with consistency even amongst various locations. You’ve got to find consistency across the board—too much of one thing can ruin a pizza. I’m tired of spending a lot of money only to end up with a disappointing meal. Jet’s is one of the most expensive pizza places around and it’s not great to spend all that money and not want to eat the pizza. Just spent $70.00 for 1 small pizza, 1 8 corner pizza, and 1 small salad. Can’t even eat the BBQ pizza. It’s a huge waste.

Friendly fast service. When you walk in you’re greeted and met with a smile. The staff is very welcoming and knows their menu. The food is always piping hot and offers a variety of options. Will be back!
We got a Eugene and meat lovers pizza and triple cheese breadsticks with pepperoni and salami! And it was fantastic!

On my way home from work on New Years Eve 2025 I ordered a Jet’s 10 8 pc and 2 orders of wings ran through 3 times. Man someone must’ve been in a hurry! The pizza was trash. Barely any toppings,my wings were soggy, and hardly sauced. For $60 bucks I could’ve gotten what I asked for. You think… If I have to come home add toppings to my pie, finish cooking my wings, and wait… There’s a problem. I get it was NYE,but at least finish the night strong. Everyone didn’t get to go party. Some just wanted some good food and rest after work…

I wasn’t too familiar with Detroit-style pizza until I tried this last night, and, WOW… now I’m a fan for life! I was SO impressed that you can get the “8-corner” selection that gives you well-done, crispy-cheese edges on 2 sides of every piece… but the MAJOR “sell” for me was the OPTIONS the customer gets: you can select from several different crust types (I got the butter crust, and it’s the FIRST time since eating pizza in Chicago that I’ve had a good “butter crust”!), and more than that, you can select HOW LONG your pizza is baked… I opted for the well-done bake and was NOT disappointed. That crunch on that crust… wow! It’s quite a drive to get to here on the coast, but WORTH EVERY BITE!! This is my first time, but WON’T be my last!

Ordered pickup the first day they opened. It was busy but the service was great. The pizza was outstanding. The Detroit style was crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. We also tried NY Style and it was equally impressive although I preferred the Detroit with the dipping marinara. The wings were delicious. The kids loved the pizza cookie. Glad to have them close by now!

Salad was phenomenal the lettuce was fresh, the salami was great, the amount of cheese on top was perfect.everything was perfectly portion. You are getting a mouth full with every bite. But with a great salad it definitely felt like it was missing something. Definitely needs a bit of a crunch factor/ I would like to recommend adding some sort of maximum croutons, or bacon bits, or the corn tortilla strips. All in all the salad is great and definitely worth the money you spend. Look forward to coming back and trying something else.

I have never liked pizza. Until now. My husband talked me into trying the 8 Corner Pizza (I get veggie, he gets pepperoni) and I ended eating over half in one sitting. It’s more expensive than some of the other pizza places but the amount and the quality aren’t even comparable. I now get a large every time so I can freeze the leftovers for later. It is truly the best pizza I have ever eaten.

My favorite Michigan pizza place! I am beyond thrilled you are here in Mississippi. If u like square pizza you will Love this. The crust is great and the sauce to cheese ratio is perfect!
It all started in my hometown of Sterling Heights, MI.
Try it once…. You won’t be disappointed

The pizza was great; we got a Detroit-style crust – it was delish! So my five-star rating is actually for the pizza, not the service. I feel like maybe the employees in the front are still learning, but I went in to pick up my pizza I ordered online, but the clerk said it wasn’t ready yet. I asked her if I could get a cup of ranch (I didn’t order it beforehand, but became curious after I saw the employees shirts advertising the ranch dressing), but she couldn’t figure out how to charge me for ir. I had cash in my hand, but she called her manager, who then had to cancel my entire order. He then recharged me for the pizza -and- the ranch. If I would’ve known it was going to be that much trouble, I would not have bothered with the ranch. I then went to stand in the other line to wait for my pizza to be finished. About 15 minutes past the projected time of my order to be ready, the clerk asked for my name again. She looked in the warmer again, and there it was. It had been ready since I had walked in the door. So, for me, the service wasn’t a great first impression, but I’m willing to give them another shot.
