In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. Along with his brother and partner John, they opened the doors to Jetts Party Shoppe & Pizzeria in Sterling Heights, MI. The pizza world would never be the same. They were about to make history by offering a truly, better pizza. And now, over 40 years later, we’re at the top of the list when it comes to crave and taste. Try an authentic Detroit-Style pizza today. Only at Jet’s.

On February 13, the staff demonstrated a complete lack of basic customer service skills, professionalism, and willingness to work. My order was heavily delayed, and the pickup time kept being pushed back without any explanation. It honestly felt like my order was being ignored — delivery drivers and customers who arrived after me received their food while I was left waiting with no updates.
The staff kept looking over without communicating anything and behaved very unprofessionally. When my order was finally handed over, no one even apologized for the delay.
The team could really learn about customer service, efficiency, and basic courtesy from places like Five Guys, where customers are actually respected.
Very disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back
This was a large delivery order — four pizzas, two orders of wings, a family Greek salad, and garlic dipping sauces. I prepaid online, tipped on the order, and also tipped the driver in cash. When we unpacked the food, the salad dressing and garlic dips were missing.
I called the store and was offered either a credit or to have the items sent out. I asked for the dressing to be delivered. An hour passed with nothing showing up. When I called again, the person I spoke to was dismissive, telling me that “mistakes happen” and that it wasn’t a big deal, and said it was already on the way. The dressing finally arrived about 15 minutes after that second call. For context, the store is roughly a 10-minute drive from the delivery address.
Mistakes happen — I get that. But the slow follow-up and the dismissive attitude really let me down. As a long-time customer who expects better from a brand built on consistency and pride in its roots, this fell short.
Absolutely terrific!
