First visit to Murphy’s, walking down main street, looking for dinner for two, and noticed Jesus’ ( pronounced hey sus I believe). A lady who just ate there recommended it, so we decided to give it a try. Best recommendation of the night. Food was top flight tasty! They bring free chips and salsa (but we ordered more – fresh chips, salsa soo good, pic 1). Their Ceviche was a robust portion, amazingly fresh and tasty … My wife who spent 25 years on the beach eating fresh seafood was even impressed pic 2. My Chili Relleno was the yummiest version of that dish I ever had. Judith got beef fajitas pic 3 and was very satisfied. We tried their Choco flan pic 4 for dessert and that was super delightful. Everything was good from start to finish. Quaint outdoor seating too. We are fans. We left the wait staff a good tip. We’ll be back every time we visit Murphy’s. Highly recommend this chef and new restaurant in town since 2025 Elohim.

My family and I went to Jesus’ Restaurant on my birthday earlier in July. This was our first time and I ordered the fajitas. I really enjoyed my meal and as we continued to eat we got to meet the owner and she was lovely! She stopped and talked for a bit and we got to know her story and felt honored to be eating there that day and supporting a wonderful, hardworking family. Definitely stop by and support this restaurant and good people. It’s woman/mother owned and we need to support support support!! And who doesn’t love Mexican food!!!

Wish I could rate this place a zero… My family and I took a vacation happened to make a stop to eat. We looked up a few restaurants and decided to check this place out. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody!! Very unwelcoming/rude made me and my family feel discriminated. Host didn’t even ask us how many of us or greet us.(Unprofessional) NO EXCUSES……..She immediately made it clear there wasn’t tables available. She told us we had to sit outside mind you the temperature outside was 30° very cold! No outside heaters or any lights out were the host pointed out to eat. There was at least four tables available inside the vibe and all just felt off. We all felt hurt. I dont see how people can be racist when operating a Mexican restaurant eating our food listening to Marachi but show hate towards our people

My wife and I came to eat here for lunch last month. The younger blonde waitress greeted us, but never told us her name or asked how we’re doing. She brought the food out but didn’t tell us the plates were very hot, so I burned my finger. The food was really good and the atmosphere was too, but the daytime server appears to be just going through the motions.

We love Murphy’s and were here to enjoy a weekend together at the annual grape stomp and craft fair on main Street. We decided on dinner at Jesus’s Restaurant and quickly realized we made a great choice with this place. My wife’s Mango Salad was awesome and my Chicken Alfredo was the best I’ve ever had! Seriously so creamy and rich! The service was excellent and the owners are awesome.

Many reviewers will claim authentic at many Mexican restaurants, but let me tell you, this place is the one! Excellent food! Quality ingredients and a friendly atmosphere. If you set the bar high on Mexican food, you won’t want to miss this one!

We had dinner here. As a vegan I was appalled that the salsa they leave on the table has chicken broth.
The service was slow even with the restaurant being dead. On top of that, the Jesus messages on the walls was off-putting.
Anyway, a mid experience, with mid food. Definitely not the best of Murphys has to offer.

Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. From the salsa and guac, to our entrees (Chicken Mole, and red enchiladas). Also loved that they had Negra Modelo on draft. Service was very friendly and prompt.

First time here. This is now one of my favorite places to eat. The food was excellent. We order the chicken piccata and chicken alfredo with garlic bread. The bread was so good. Everything had a lot of flavor. I can’t wait to come back and try something new. The service was also good. Really nice family own.
