I like this place so much. In good weather you sit on porch and eat an always-special meal. The coffee is fresh and flavorful. The waiter is a gem. The wall art is provocative. The fruit cup was surprisingly ripe and fresh.

Wow, what a find. The cooking here is amazing. Everything is perfectly seasoned. Ice tea and coffee are both very good. Shrimp salad had just the right amount of mayonnaise and herbs, and the salad dressing is delicious. Avocado toast is also wonderful. Service is wonderful.

Dining area is a little small but we were seated right away for brunch. The food was delicious. We ate every last bite! Staff was friendly and service was quick. Definitely recommend eating here for breakfast.

I wish I could award Jester’s Cafe one million stars! Our food was spectacular! I enjoyed the Galliano Shrimp Cake Benedict while my husband chowed down on the Smoked Salmon Benedict. The traditional mimosa as well as the cranberry mimosa were both refreshing and delightful. Our server was jovial, competent and knowledgeable. She engaged us in polite conversation and made us feel relaxed. Everything was perfect! A return trip to Wilmington is a must just so we can eat here again. Kudos to all who contribute to the success of Jester’s Cafe!

***Updates: went again today. We had the Cuban sandwich, smoked salmon Benedict, and mimosas. Absolutely phenomenal food and service! We were so happy to have another great experience with a staff that is clearly passionate about their craft. I can’t wait to go again soon!!! And if you have a wait for a table there is a great wine bar next door!***

We went to Jesters for Sunday Brunch. Overall experience was not good. They need better ventilation in this place because both my boyfriend and I’s eyes started burning and by the end of the meal we had to step outside to wait for our card back. It looked like we both had been crying. This has never happened to me before. Service wasn’t good either, our waiter rushed us through the entire process. Food was mid.

Second time here. So delicious! We shared the smoked salmon Benedict and the Cuban sandwich. Both hit the spot! And, the black eyed pea salad as a side was fresh and surprisingly yummy! We capped off our brunch with Just Peachy and Poinsettia mimosas. We left with happy bellies and spirits. Highly recommend Jester’s Cafe!

Cool place but quiche was way undercooked. Smallest coffee cup I’ve ever seen. Service was good. Atmosphere is cool. Music was a bit club for breakfast.

Some of the best breakfast food I’ve ever had. The historic home gives a friendly feeling and the service only added to that. This is definitely going to become a regular stop.

I like this place alot because of the food, it’s small so it’s not ideal for groups over 4 people. Some of the sitting has church pews & pillows, very homely. The service staff can be a little rude, not sure if this is because sometimes people like to take their time so tables turn over slower or because there is a little attitude problem.
