Went and tried the country fried steaks and they were awesome! The waitress was great and made our experience fun! The prices were very reasonable the entrees include two sides and were very large portions. The mac and cheese was super delicious! Will definitely be going back again!

We ate here yesterday. Loved the atmosphere, the staff was really friendly, and the food was great! If you like a little kick to your food ask for their XX BBQ sauce, if you like something with a bit more sweetness my husband has their caramel apple BBQ sauce and loved it.

Excellent smoked ribs and I’ve never likes ribs. The BBQ sauce is also good and I believe homemade. Mashed potatoes with the smoked gravy were delicious. Service was fast but had a couple mix ups that were quickly fixed. Definately recommended.

Eaten here twice. The brisket was excellent. Kids loved their meals. Chicken and ribs were on point. After living in the South for a long time before moving back to MN, its been nice to have a taste of the South in hometown.

The food was very good. Started with poutine which I would highly recommend. I got the brisket sandwich which was also very good, my daughters got the ribs which were a very tasty dry style and very tender, and my wife got the chicken which was delicious as well and everyone loved the mac and cheese. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was cause the service was a little slow but I’d bet that will only improve. Absolutely pumped we have a good smokehouse in Fairmont!

Had good food and the waitress was very friendly. Very good server. Had her both times we ate there. Food was not very hot when it came out but still good the first visit second it was good. Biggest complaint about this place is both times I was there on a busy Saturday night the owner came out yelling at his waitress for something and the dinning room was full. Will NOT be back cause of this.

If I could give this less than a one star I would. We we’re camping in the area and saw the reviews on Google and it looked like it was going to be a great place to take my family for supper. Boy was I wrong. The ribs were cooked to near perfection but had basically no flavor. My kids were asking us what the meat was in the chicken nuggets because they didn’t taste like chicken. My wife’s loaded baked potato had a pinch of bacon, broccoli stems and some kind of watered down cheese sauce. Honestly the only thing that was decent was the french fries and they weren’t even on the menu.

I placed a takeout order at Jessie’s Smokehouse for a work event. The staff was very helpful and the food was amazing. We had pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes…all 3 were so good. And the price was unbelievably reasonable. If you’re in Fairmont, or even within 45 miles of Fairmont, this place is worth a stop. Highly recommended!

Excellent food. I’m a southerner and had the Chicken Fried Steak which was the 2nd best I’ve ever had (the best is at a hometown restaurant that will never be unseated). Mac & Cheese and Baked Beans were also amazing.

Friendly staff, but not great food. My husband said his brisket tasted more like pot roast (Hy-Vee’s is MUCH better) and my chicken was almost mushy. My vegetables were only lukewarm. One bright spot for me is that they have real butter.
