Rib sandwich and cottage fries, the trio sandwich- butt, brisket & hot links god sauce and slaw. All the meats tender with great pit flavors. Cottage fries were seasoned and tasted great. The trio is a large sandwich and messy somehow I didn’t stain my shirt.

I just ate at Jessie Rae’s BBQ in Henderson, and this place absolutely lives up to the hype. From the moment I pulled in, the parking lot was packed and the energy inside said everything you want a BBQ joint to say: happy people, full tables, and the smell of seriously good food.
Let’s start with the waffle fries. Perfectly seasoned, hot, and fresh. They were delivered to my table by Jessie Rae’s husband himself, which immediately set the tone for how personal and welcoming this place feels. My baseline for spice is already “a little spicy,” and everything I ate landed just a touch above that. Not overpowering, not painful, just enough heat to make every bite interesting and crave-worthy.
The MacRib was the real star. Huge portion, beautifully assembled, and absolutely delicious. The meat had a fantastic texture with a great balance of tenderness and crispiness, the pickles were spot on, the sauce was rich and flavorful without drowning the sandwich, and the bun held everything together perfectly. Every component mattered, and you could taste the care in it. This is a sandwich you remember after you leave.
I kept it simple with a fountain drink, and honestly, it fit. The food doesn’t need distractions or gimmicks. It stands confidently on its own.
What really elevated the experience, though, was the people. The waitstaff and kitchen staff created an atmosphere that felt upbeat, genuine, and welcoming. You could tell they enjoy what they’re doing, and that kind of energy makes the food taste even better.
Jessie Rae’s BBQ isn’t just another BBQ spot in Vegas. It’s a destination. Award-winning for a reason, grounded in quality, and clearly built with heart. If you’re anywhere near Henderson and even thinking about BBQ, stop thinking and just go. I will absolutely be back.

Absolutely delicious place! The smoked meat is incredible — especially the brisket and ribs, so tender and flavorful. We’re sad we discovered this spot only on the day of our flight, but we’ll definitely come back someday! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to all smoked-meat lovers!

Overall excellent experience. We stopped in and ordered take out and did not eat in the restaurant. The portions were exceedingly generous. I really enjoyed the pulled pork and the hot links, but the brisket was a little too fatty for my liking.
We will definitely return and most likely add this to our regular dining rotation.

We drove over an hour to try this place out. I was disappointed. We got there right at opening placed our and all the tables were dirty and the floor was as well. When the food came out it was underwhelming, especially after all, the hype on social, I saw. The taste of the food is good. The portions, they serve are not worth the money you spend.

Killer BBQ, great service, awesome environment, free play arcade game to keep the kids busy. Chopped brisket was the best but the fortress is a feat to behold. Give them a shot you wont regret it.

My mom and I went here based on a few Tiktok videos that had them in their Top 5 spots in Vegas. Great choice. Got a 3 meat plate with 1 side, and a 2 meat plate with 1 side, and since we both wanted mac and cheese, got the large side. The brisket was nice and tender, the pork ribs were fall off the bone amazing, the pulled pork was great, and the the chicken had great flavor I did mention to the hostess that the chicken was slightly dry, BUT, because we came in near closing time, I don’t have a problem with it because I’m absolutely positive that if we came in an earlier time, it’d be crazy juicy. The baked beans were fire, the spicy coleslaw definitely hit good, and the mac and cheese was mac and cheesy. The sauce selection was great, and that spicy one was addictive as hell (only complaint was the tip kept getting clogged, lol).
Overall, everything was delicious to the point where I drove back home to Bakersfield with the leftovers, and the girl absolutely loved it, even after about 15 hours.
My only major complaint is one I always have with BBQ joints, and most restaurants in general, is the brown paper towels that are absolutely useless when dealing with such savory and delicious handheld foods.
Definitely a must have better time we go to Vegas.
