We had a great early dinner. Healthy option here in yellow springs! Try them out. California poke bowl and build your own were our choice today. Their smoothies looked amazing but didn’t want to over do it. Trails to follow meal. Yellow springs is a cool little town! Next time trying the seaweed wrap and smoothies! Taught gf checkers while waiting too. Had games and books to read. Service was awesome. Enjoyed it!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Waited over 45 minutes for 2 poke bowls. They were both very simplistic orders and the amount of sauce that you get on them makes for a very dry inedible bowl. The amount of protein you get for the price is ridiculous. And what kind of a sushi place has no cream cheese? I understand when a place only has one worker. But when that worker doesn’t have any motivation and moves at a snails pace , it really doesn’t make for good service. I honestly wish I would have been more impatient and just asked for a refund. Because the money was not worth it, the calories were not worth it and I even went to Hardee’s after because it was not satisfying at all. $33 for some rice and cucumber. Also, the avocado wasn’t even to ripeness, so it was just hard slices with no flavor. Also supposedly the salmon was marinated, but with what water, air? No flavor. Will never go back.

I’ve enjoyed a few different dishes from Jessica’s Poke Island, and they were all fantastic! This is a small operation, and the service has always been excellent. They offer a robust menu with tastes for every palate. Have special requests? They do what they can to make it happen and make sure you leave happy. The serving sizes are generous. Visit during the week for the fastest service as there is limited seating — a challenge I’m sure the owner would love to address if only there was more space in our bustling downtown. It can get very busy on the weekends! Enjoy big-city tastes in the gorgeous little best village in the world, Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Awesome food, and very polite, fast, and great service! Tried the Poke Island Bowl and Matcha milk boba. The poke had plentiful, fresh fish and was very well balanced in terms of flavor and ratio of fish to rice and veggies. The matcha was impressively strong and much more balanced in sweetness than most boba I’ve had. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Delicious! If you haven’t tried Miguel’s Poke Island you need to soon. We had two spicy tuna poke bowls, bang bang shrimp, and taro boba tea, so good! Highly recommend. Very polite and attentive service!

Absolutely delicious! Not the kind of restaurant you’d expect to find in Yellow Springs but I’m sure glad it is. It’s a bit pricey but you get plenty of food – I couldn’t even finish! All the ingredients tasted fresh. Can’t wait to try their boba tea and Thai curry when it comes back.

I love this place!! The colorful and eclectic vibe really placed me back in the BVI. The owner crafts the poke bowls with love. Really like eating a work of art. This visit, I got a bang bang bowl and it was scrumptious. Before I’ve had a taro milk tea that was also delicious. The owner is hard working and committed to friendly service. I will travel to Yellow Springs again just to visit this place. It’s a great and healthy way to fill up after long hikes at the nearby parks.

I got the salmon bowl and it was very fresh! Owner was so friendly and we ended up talking for about an hour. I hope this business flourishes and we would like to stop by here often 🙂 Will also let our friends know and maybe we can come by at night to play dungeons and dragons! Very pleasant experience.
