Our party ordered the 16-ounce New York strip, the 16-ounce Delmonico, and the prime rib special. All of us went with loaded baked potatoes and Caesar salads.
I started with the escargot, which came with two soft breadsticks similar in style to Olive Garden’s. The escargot was fantastic. Perfectly salted in a rich bath of olive oil with a surprise mushroom cap underneath the snail. Absolutely delicious. My wife had the French onion soup and described it as amazing. The Caesar salads were huge. They did not look like side salads at all. Generous portions and full of flavor.
Then came the steaks. You could see perfection on the plate. They truly know how to prepare steak. I ordered my Delmonico medium rare. Normally I take a picture of my meal, but it looked so incredible I could not help tearing into it right away. I remembered to snap a photo halfway through. It was that appealing. Everyone at the table loved their steaks. Cooked to perfection, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The loaded baked potatoes were outstanding. Fully dressed and the perfect complement to the steaks. It is rare that a baked potato stands out, but this one did.
Our waitress was a complete rockstar. Professional, attentive, and clearly experienced. The whole staff seemed to have their system down perfectly. She even brought my brother-in-law an ice cream dessert on the house for his birthday. We also ordered two slices of homemade Key lime pie, and they were a 10 out of 10.
We live in Bradenton, but we will absolutely make the drive again. When you know the steak is going to be that heavenly, it is worth it.
I wish the take reservations, it was packed on a Thursday night, but it was only a 20 minute wait.
Bonus: we sat right next to the fish tank.
Service was solid—our waiter was friendly and clearly knew the menu well, which helped with some recommendations. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worth it.
If you’re looking for a good spot for seafood or steak and don’t mind spending a bit more, Jesse’s is a solid choice.
Now to the service and food, our waitress was top-notch and very attentive. She placed all the orders quickly and brought drink refills out as she should. As the remaining party arrived parent and littles our food hit the table. I had the delmonico steak and potato along with their side salad (not good), the steak was ok the potato was the best part only because it was loaded with everything. My wife had the cod and it was overcooked, the clam chowder had too much flour and we sent it back. The remaining crowd was older and loyal to the brand, I’m sad to say this will be our only visit. If your looking for the old school standards maybe this place is for you.
Parking is ok and could be a problem when busy, dinner reservations would probably be a good idea.
What really set the evening apart was the exceptional customer service. Brandy was absolutely phenomenal — attentive, professional, and genuinely warm throughout the entire visit. She anticipated needs before we even had to ask and made sure every detail was handled with excellence. It’s rare to encounter service that is both highly efficient and sincerely personable, but Brandy struck that balance beautifully.
Because of her attentiveness and the quality of the overall experience, Jesse’s has definitely earned a return visit. If you’re looking for great food paired with top-tier service, this is the place — and if you can, ask for Brandy. You’ll be in very good hands.
