We went here to celebrate my birthday. I love tea parlors. This was our first time at this one. As soon as you walk through the front door you are transformed into tea world. The ambiance was wonderful. We both ordered the High Tea. The food was fabulous. The meal began with a wonderful salad and you could either choose soup or chicken salad on a croissant. We chose the chicken salad. The chicken salad, tuna, and egg salad we’re delicious. I have not finished eating the ham pinwheel yet. The scones were delicious, as well as their lemon curd and devonshire cream. All the desserts were delicious as well. We definitely will be going back to this place.

We took our daughter and 9 friends to Jessa’s to celebrate her 17th birthday. We chose Jessa’s because of the great reviews and gluten free option.

The waitress walked us through the tea selections, which were extensive. The teas we selected were all very good and unique. The sandwiches and desserts were very good as well.

Unfortunately, something was very off about the gluten free scones. The texture and initial flavor were all very good, but it was followed by an incredibly bitter aftertaste. They were inedible. We approached the waitress. She responded that it was just their recipe. We had multiple people in our group that have been gluten free for over 15 years. We tried to explain that it was likely a mistake. Our guess was that the base batter (there were 3 flavors) had too much baking powder or soda. She again said that it was just their recipe, but that she would pass along that we didn’t like them. All our scones went uneaten. We finished everything else on the towers.

If the scones had been good, this would have been 5 stars. If we had received any validation for the scones, even just an apology, it would have still been 4 stars. A group of 10 was not cheap, and the gluten free options was an additional fee, which is normal and fair.

So, either the scone recipe was terrible, and we do not recommend or it was a simple mistake that was disappointingly handled.

Are you looking for a welcoming Tea House to sit down and enjoy sandwich’s, soups, and tasty pastry’s? You found it at Jessa’s Tea Parlor in Woodstock. Up a hill you park and walk in to a teapot on the door welcoming you in to an intimate tea experience. I would highly recommend a reservation, some days require a reservation , I would call and ask before going.

They offer both high tea and low tea. They also have a menu that they will serve off of during certain times and days.

We did the low tea. Both of us got two separate pots of tea, chicken salad, and scones. You do have an option with the Low Tea of getting soup instead. The chicken salad was great!

The scones were absolutely delicious. It came with whipped cream and some kind of jelly like dipping sauce.

I saw the high tea table, which was a three tiered standing pastry and sandwich tray. It looked delicious. .

If you’re looking to go out for a day of fun with friends or your mom or your girlfriends this is a great place .

Not only was the food good but it wasn’t overcrowded. You could have a really nice conversation to catch up without too much noise like a usual restaurant.

You will enjoy this cute spot and I will be back.

Fabulous place! I made a high tea reservation for myself, sister-in-law and mother-in-law for Valentine’s Day and we had an amazing time! We did the Sassy Mrs. Classy high tea and everything was delicious. We ordered some gluten free options and those were really good considering and we even ordered gluten free scones to take home since they were really good. The service was fantastic, couldn’t have asked for better and the little gift shop is precious.
This is such a great place to take friends, family and significant others. We highly recommend!

we had such an amazing time!! everything was so cute and well curated. the only thing i would suggest to keep the “ambiance” going is to get a no ad subscription to a music service. it was beautiful and charming and then a very loud ad comes on every 4 minutes it kind of ruins the vibe. other than that everything was perfect, the customer service was spectacular and all the girls there were polite and friendly. the food was delicious and the variety of teas is amazing. definitely recommend for any get together!!

It was the most wonderful experience EVER!! I’ve traveled to other tea parlors, but Jessa’s is home-based for me and my daughter. Very sweet and polite servers. The expansion is sooo beautiful I wasn’t expecting that, but simply gorgeous!! I can’t wait to return. Hopefully soon. Food…”chef’s kisses”!!

We had my daughter’s bridal shower at Jessa’s. It was a beautiful event. My daughter was so happy. Jessa invited us in a week before the shower to taste the teas we wanted to have at the shower. She was very warm and inviting. We chose the high tea and added decorations and a cake which was delicious. The guests raved about how good everything tasted and the whole atmosphere was awesome. If you want to have a nice shower or just go out with friends, I highly recommend Jessa’s Tea Parlor.
