Food was amazing! Great options for different slices! The slices are quite large. Friendly environment, workers were nice, nice cashier as well. Decently priced. Lots of seating space. Food was ready pretty quick as well. An excellent place to stop in and grab a bite of some delicious kosher pizza! Recommended for anyone in the area.

The unofficial headquarters of “Just grab me something from Jerusalem, I’m starving.”
Jerusalem Restaurant in Elizabeth is one of those places you walk into and immediately think, “Ah, this is exactly what a good, heimishe pizza shop should feel like.” The vibes are classic, the tables are sturdy, the chairs don’t wobble (a neis), and the smell of fresh pizza hits you before you even finish parking your car.
The slices here? LEGIT. These aren’t your delicate, Brooklyn-style thin slivers. These are full-on, serious, respectable Elizabeth mezuman-size slices. One slice is basically a full meal, and two slices means you’re not moving for the next hour. The cheese pull is so perfect it could win awards. The crust has that ideal balance of crispy and chewy — you know, the kind that makes you nod to yourself like, “Yeah… they know what they’re doing here.”
If you’re feeling adventurous, the breaded eggplant pizza is a must-try. Sounds wild, tastes amazing. Your taste buds will thank you; your diet won’t, but who cares — it’s Jerusalem.
Service is quick, friendly, and no-nonsense. You walk in, you say your order, and before you even check your phone, your slice is already on the counter waiting for you. Efficiency level: Milchigs Special Ops Unit.
Whether you’re grabbing lunch, stopping by during a road trip, picking up supper for the family, or you just need that classic kosher pizza-shop comfort experience… Jerusalem Restaurant always delivers (literally and figuratively).
Highly recommend — one of the staples of Elizabeth that just hits right every single time.

This was my first time here, but my aunt shared that the restaurant was renovated since her last visit. This is a Kosher place, and they have a dedicated Rabbi who is affiliated. They had pizza pies and food already prepared that you can choose from. We got a half pita with lentil soup. You can choose your topings. The food was ok. The workers were friendly. The place looks clean and the bathrooms, too. I would come back if I lived in town. I wanted to try the pizza, but I love falafels.

I dont think “great place , people and food” is adequate . They actually care about what they make and do everyday. Anyone will take an order for you….everyone is fully present… they have their departments, but ready to jump in at any moment – its a positive use of the word Triage! Serving size looked small – asked for more and with a smile they topped off my soup ( vs. “Ready for combat”). Asked for “Grande” slice and boy did I get one – I should have washed on half of it; wasn’t even hungry for dinner, and, BTW, it was the best Spinach and Eggplant I ever had ( Is that the usual combo? I forget). My son’s “Mac and Cheese” should be renamed “Big Mac and Cheese” – ok, maybe not, but you get the picture – he took home half and will have snack for next day or so. They are friendly and the customers readily pass continents and help each other out when order is ready…they just set the tone- the right tone!

This place has been around for years and quite frankly looks and feels it. I have been coming here for years as well. The food is okay and is cafeteria style. For a Kosher restaurant the prices are reasonable, comparable to a non-kosher restaurant. I like the salad platters. The pizza is okay. If you are looking for an informal kosher restaurant with descent food and in the area, give this place a try.

As the only kosher pizza store in town with no major competition I didn’t have high hopes, and I came because I was hungry. But I was wrong! The pizza was GREAT. My mushroom slice was quite large and the white ricotta spinach slice had generous amounts; both were tasty and had very good cheese and a crispy crust.

My first impressions of the place were not good and we all know first impressions are important. The place had a dirty look; the tables weren’t clean, there were dirty dishes on empty tables. The food in the display didn’t look at all appetizing, and didn’t seem to be fresh. The fries were pretty good but I don’t like the pizza so much. The food was pretty cheap so at least that….

It’s great when you tell a place you been going to location for 30 years and they give away your vegetable calzone. It’s either favortism with regular customer or the fact I told them I’m paying cash-told me to order at kiosk-maybe credit card at other kiosk trumps my order. But I do know I asked for it before other guy. They said in nice terms, the heck with you-you gotta wait 10 mins. Man looked too use to this rudeness, stay away!!

Great pizza
Price was good
I had the falafel vegetable slice that has double crust and was amazing and only $5 it was like eating 2 slices one onto of the other
Very good service.

While I was waiting for my delicious cheese pretzel to warm up, I went to use the restroom. The left bathroom sign said women. The right bathroom was unmarked, in use, and had a woman waiting in front of the door. I asked her if both bathrooms were occupied. She said, “No, but this one is for women”. I smiled and informed her I didn’t think anyone would mind if I used it.
Use it I did, and made sure to leave it clean.
