OK, let’s talk about the best calzone I have had in my life walking into this place as a previous pizza shop Owner I was not expecting the goodness in the crust or the taste given in a falafel calzone. I highly recommend this place and I highly support this falafel calzone. Tell you the truth I could not wait until I walked out and sit in my car to taste it because it smelled so good. The staff is a friendly mom pop shop love it definitely will be back.

My husband brought home his lunch leftovers for me try. Alaskn pizza, chicken alfredo, and coney island pizzas. My favorite was chicken alfredo. In my opinion the alaskn pizza was slightly fishy.

This is not New York pizza. Amazing flavorful pizza dough, crazy flavor combos, but so so good. Greek pizza, Kishka pizza, bbq chicken pizza are so good! Don’t skip the nachos and try the loaded tuna sandwich on herby bread!

I’m in LOVE! I just had the most FANTASTIC Lox bagel sandwich. I’ve been enjoying bagels for 35 years and I can truly say this was the best lox I have ever had. It was incredibly fresh. I was so excited to eat it I forgot to take a picture. It was enjoyed in 5 minutes. It seriously was so so so so good. I highly recommend it. This is a WONDERFUL business. Everyone behind the counter was so friendly! Awesome customer service. I can’t wait to be back. This will now be my go-to spot. I’m obsessed!!!

Every visit to Detroit since they opened many years ago has included a visit to Jerusalem Pizza. One of the first really good pizzeria places outside of NY they have set a standard for thick crust pizza that many others have not been able to follow. Their secret is the special dough that I’m sure others have commented on prior. It’s very good and the pizza is near perfect. Unfortunately for them the municipality removed their seating area. Hopefully it will return after the construction in the area is complete. Worth a takeout.

Sadly, the lady running the counter was frazzled and overwhelmed by the lunch business.
This woman was very rude, no receipt, and frankly shouldn’t be working the counter and interacting with customers.
Before this is discounted as someone being a “Karen”, this is my FIRST Google review in years. It’s bad. Real bad. I felt obligated to warn others.
Nobody needs or deserves to be treated this way. Certainly not someone picking up a couple mediocre bagels light on cream cheese for their family.

“My first time visiting Detroit from New York, and this bagel shop was a real experience. I’m glad I stopped by — the food is amazing and the staff is even better. You can taste the 40 years of bagel-making. Highly recommended!”

This is a great, family owned, old style pizza restaurant. Decor is a bit dated but the food is solid. My wife particularly loved her personal pizza.
The cheese sticks were by far our favourite part of the meal. They were 10/10. Very different to the classic style mozzarella sticks but amazing.
