Absolutely amazing! I terribly regret not coming to Jerusalem Med Restaurant sooner. I am completely mesmerized, everything was truly authentic, fresh, delicate yet flavorful. The lentil soup is among one of the best soups ever. Fresh house made hummus and fresh baked pita were outstanding delicious. The beef liver appetizer with half jalapeño was outrageously delicious, flavors explode in your mouth. And the lamb shank served with high-end basmati rice was an absolute delight; a trip to my childhood memories of aromas and taste one cannot find just anywhere anymore. Jerusalem Med Restaurant is a must dine experience I will never forget.

Celebrated my godson’s birthday here. His father ate here last year and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the restaurant has sorely degraded. The hummus and Jerusalem salad portions were small, the feta cheese in the Jerusalem salad was unquestionably store bought and not made in-house. My Kabsa chicken entree was practically tasteless with a hint of greatness, but the spice content was underwhelming. The rice was essentially colored rice with a few raisins sprinkled on top. The Harira soup that came with my meal tasted like the watery sauce inside a can of peeled tomatoes–absolutely terrible. The chicken kabob entree was also devoid of spice and no grilled vegetables were on the skewer. Other entrees also lacked sufficient spices. The pita bread, which was refilled, was freshly made and the second best part of the meal. The best part of the meal was the Tea Pot. The tea had a nice flavor that all of us enjoyed. Our server was all business and did not have a welcoming demeanor. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated, but the tables were a bit too low. A lot of the restaurant was carpeted. The place was quiet during most of our meal, but then the music was jacked up which made conversation difficult. It was unnecessary since only 2-3 tables had customers. Parking was adequate in the rear of the restaurant. A so-called inflation surcharge of $8 was added to the bill which we refused to pay since none of us (5 people) could remember seeing it disclosed on the menu and there were certainly no signs on the door or in the restaurant mentioning it–if you need money that bad, just raise your prices! Tired of being nickel and dimed, and not knowing the full cost of things until the bill is presented!

Not worth the money at all. The food was expensive and not tasty, as others stated in previous reviews. Whoever says the food is delicious at this place either hasn’t eaten any good food in their life, or they didn’t pay for their meal.

Have been a few times, love the food and service. Recommend the kabob platter for two – lamb, beef kofta, chicken and salmon.

Food was flavorful and hot. Nahed was a wonderful host in her establishment. Portion sizes were good. A beautiful interior to enjoy the food. A gem in the plethora of restaurants in the area and definitely worthy of trying for the inquiring foodies. We will be back. Soup, pita bread, rice and mixed kabobs were all delicious. Thank you!

Been a patron of Jerusalem since they were across the street. Always a good experience every time. Clean, comfortable, delicious, and authentic cuisine from with no American-style “kicking it up a notch” BuSh that’s persistent in many restaurants.

Had dinner here last night. It was a very pleasant experience. The food was very good, and you can tell the ingredients were fresh. It’s a really nice space, and the place is spotless. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I plan on returning. The portions aren’t huge, but we were satisfied. T

This was an initial visit to the restaurant. It is located on a busy street. I anticipated parking would be a problem here. It was not a problem. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant.

The Bronzino was amazing! The flavors in the vegetables and sauces were also delicious. The sandwich was ok so go for one of the entrees! I’m coming back to try dessert and tajine!
