If you’re looking for subs that could fill a giant, then BOOM — this is the sub shop for you. Fresh ingredients, fresh bread… what else could you want?
Yes, the prices are a little higher, but the quality more than makes up for it. These sandwiches are stacked like they’re trying to qualify for the Olympics.
My two favorite subs here are The Bossio and the Pastrami. If you’re a weak human, do not attempt either of these. These sandwiches are meant for warriors, lumberjacks, and world-altering superheroes only.
With locations in Kenai and Soldotna, it’s a solid stop if you’re hungry enough to question your life choices halfway through the sandwich.

Of the three subs that were ordered only one of them was correct. One was the crab sandwich and it was ordered without lettuce and tomato but sure enough both of those items were on it. This was after hearing the only person there saying no lettuce and tomato. The other one was supposed to be a Philly cheesesteak. The meat was burnt in places and overall, the sandwich was completely dry. It’s like it had been made a couple hours before and just left sitting there waiting for somebody to order one.

No-frills place, clean, and is not a chain.
Did experience one odd thing… I got a 20 inch sub and asked for it to be cut in half and wrapped separately
She turned the credit card machine around and added a dollar to it. I asked her, what was that for?
“Oh… We charge extra to cut the sandwiches and wrapped them separately.”
That’s completely unnecessary

They used to be the best in town went in today and they menu is way different there bread is different, I got the Philly like usual and its not the same less meat and stuff was missing from it unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon..

I ordered 2 hot sandwiches last night and picked them up at the drive-through window. When I got home I realized that the rolls had not been toasted. That made a huge (to me) difference in the taste of the sandwiches. I live far enough out of Kenai that taking them back was not an option. I have never before had an unpleasant experience at Jersey Subs, not sure if I will be back.

We have been eating here for years. Definitely my husband’s favorite spot to grab a philly! Their hot sandwiches are the best in my opinion. We usually order for pick up and they always wrap the sandwich in a paper plate along with the paper which makes sharing very easy. Inside the restaurant is plenty of sitting space and fun stuff to look at while you wait for your food.

The WORST SUB sandwiches we have EVER had! SO EXPENSIVE! Customer service was terrible! 3 sandwiches. NO MEAT! They wouldn’t go an extra inch for making the customer happy. Wouldn’t take off an Item that I am allergic too. Wouldn’t toast the sandwiches because we didn’t order the Hot ones. VERY RUDE! OVER $40.00 with NO drinks. 2 of the sandwiches were MINIS!
