Reviews
This is the second time I’ve received a sandwich with lettuce, even though I clearly requested no lettuce. And this time, it wasn’t just a mix-up—it looked like someone realized the mistake, scraped off most of it, and hoped I wouldn’t notice. But I did. The bread was soggy, and there were shredded pieces left behind. It felt lazy, rushed, and frankly, disrespectful.
I’m not mad about one wrong ingredient. I understand that mistakes happen. What really gets me is the way it was handled. It would’ve taken just a few extra minutes to remake it properly—but instead, someone chose a shortcut, and that choice told me a lot about how seriously they take customer satisfaction.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I can’t do much about it. Uber Eats doesn’t follow up, and trying to get any kind of resolution feels like shouting into a void. There’s no accountability—just a shrug and silence.
And that’s the real issue here. Not that mistakes happen—but that the people involved know there’s no real consequence. They assume the customer will just deal with it, eat the cost, and keep ordering. And honestly? That’s probably true in most cases.
But I’m not writing this review because I want a refund. I’m writing it because I care. I’m a regular. I’ve supported this business for a long time. I’m not here to bash them—I just want them to do better. All it takes is a little ownership. A little care. A little pride in getting it right, even when things go wrong.
To Jersey Mike’s: I’ve been a steady customer because I’ve always believed in what you offer—but that belief is starting to wear thin. I’m still rooting for you to get it right.
To Uber Eats: You need to create real systems for feedback. Right now, customers are on their own, and businesses know it.
And to anyone else reading this who’s had similar experiences—speak up.
