I am so happy to find this sub place.
I placed an order for ASAP pickup using the website on a Sunday, and the confirmation email I got said it would be ready at 5:26 pm. My husband went to pick up the order and arrived around 5:30. It took until 6:09 PM for the sandwiches to be ready, which is 43 minutes late. The staff at the store were essentially only making sandwiches for customers who walked in and placed an order in person. My husband checked in with the workers to ask when they are going to make the online orders, but didn’t really get an answer. There were apparently some other people who had also been waiting quite a while for online orders.
This location used to be pretty prompt but it has definitely gotten a lot worse. I did see some folks complaining on Google Maps reviews several months ago about the opposite problem (that staff were only making online orders and not helping in-person orders.) I’m sure it is tricky to balance the two, but this is pretty ridiculous. I would have just cancelled the order, but didn’t see a way to do that online, and my husband asked an employee in the store who didn’t know if that was possible.
The meat and cheese slices are very thin though and little in quantity compared to the bread ratio and me as a meat lover I don’t fully appreciate it…
I probably won’t be returning anytime soon, to me they sell overpriced Subway like sandwiches, nothing new under the Sun…
