Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s serves authentic East Coast-style subs on fresh baked bread – the same recipe it started with over 60 years ago. I purchased an Italian sandwich and the total came out to $8.95. The sandwich is extremely tiny and I can’t believe how much it cost! I asked if I could get a large water since I was thirsty, and they mentioned that I’d have to pay for the cup, which I was fine with… That is until they told me it’s going to be over $3 for a paper cup. I’m not mad at the cashier since he didn’t do anything, but Jersey Mike’s can do better. 🙁
Pros: the Sandwich tasted really good and the gentlemen behind the counter were very kind.

Have had a mini cold classic Italian which was very good, this time the #66 portalbella cheesesteak in Giant size was/is just amazing!. Grilled on their flattop while you wait a few minutes, it is served hot and molten and delicious. Still warm upon arriving home, 1/4 of the 12″ was enough for lunch! Great combo of beef and mushrooms with outstanding seasoning! Suggest the rosemary parmesan roll.

We went on Friday 08/01 about 5:15pm. We were the only people in the store. We ordered one sandwich with no issues. I went to order mine and wanted a mini on wheat. They had a full loaf of wheat; however, the young man refused to serve me. He stated he could not cut “his only wheat loaf.” Even if I ordered a regular, it would need to be cut. He said he could only make it on white, which I declined. I was a bit flabbergasted that they had the type of bread I wanted and straight out refused. We purchased the one sandwich and I watched my other half eat his dinner and we left.
It was 5pm and they had several more hours of time to be open. It would have been different if we can close to closing and they were out of my bread choice. The fact they had it there and refused to serve what I ordered makes absolutely no sense. If more was cooking, great!, you will have more for the next customer….after you make me my mini on wheat bread.

Hard working team here at this location.
One team member is outstanding with their non stop working while positively engaging with customers. These jobs are not easy to execute or keep up with yet this young man is doing an outstanding job with the demands and pressure his is currently under… I give this team 5 stars with an applause
Thank you for feeding us a tasty lunch.

We stopped in during a road trip on January 4th to grab a bite. The sandwich was great, but the 3 young men working behind the counter were excellent. So polite and welcoming. We were impressed with how good the sandwich was , but even more my them. Good job, guys!

I recently had an exceptional experience at the Jersey Mike’s Subs. As a busy parent, juggling a hungry child and a food order can be challenging, but Kreed went above and beyond to make my visit stress-free.
He noticed me outside trying to manage my little one while waiting for my order. Without hesitation, he brought my sandwich out to me! This small act of kindness made a huge difference and truly exemplified outstanding customer service.
The food was delicious, as always, but it was Kreed’s attentiveness and genuine care that truly elevated my experience. He’s a true asset to Jersey Mike’s, and I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great meal and exceptional service. Thanks again Kreed!

My first time at a Jersey Mike’s, wanted to see what the hype is about. The sandwich was about average, but surprisingly expensive even for 2024. Very light on protein for the price point.
It’s fine, but looking elsewhere for meals for two under $24 next time.

I can’t get over how AMAZINGLY kindhearted the workers are at the Placerville location. I bring in a teenage partially nonverbal special needs girl I caretake for and the workers will communicate to her even though she doesn’t really know how to talk back. She is actually trying to hold a conversation with them because they keep talking even if they don’t understand her!! The first time I went in I was surprised because nobody ever puts that much effort into talking to her at fast food or sandwich places. Then they remembered us the second time and now it’s the only sandwich place I’ll go to because of how kind they are and how much they actually make you feel they care about you as the customer. It’s her favorite place to go now! Kindness goes such a long ways and they truly show just that.
Also the sandwiches are unique and yummy! I wasn’t sure what to get at first, but I recommend getting the pepper jelly they have because no other sandwich shop has that. The sandwiches are much different than subway, but I think they’re better in my opinion.

The staff is very friendly, and the food is good, but wrong 3 of the last 4 visits. I’m used to giving the number of my choice, paying and hitting the road. It’s frustrating that I should have to remember to specify my order at this one location, because they keep getting it wrong. It also sucks that this is the closest location to many isolated communities so you don’t even realize the screw up until you’re too far to justify a return.
In other words, they’d be great if they actually learned their menu.
