Came here last night and try Jersey milk for the very first time. Inside the store was clean and the employee was pretty friendly. Ordered a giant sub with BBQ beef. Hot sub normally don’t come with veggie but we requested. I think the quality for the food is ok but need some sauce on the meat and sub. There wasn’t any sauce and so the sandwich came out dry

I never come to Jersey Mikes but today I decided to. I grabbed a drink out of the fridge and purchased it without thinking I should check the expiration date. After I took a few sips, I saw the drink expired a month ago. Just be mindful of their products, I hope none of the actual food is expired there

As I’m an avid fan of sandwiches, I was happy that a “Jersey Mike’s Subs” opened in Citrus Heights. And considering this particular location did not yet have a review, I had the honor and privilege of giving this new business its first Yelp review. Located in the heart of the Sunrise Marketplace in Citrus Heights, this particular location neighbors a Chipotle, MetroPCS, and Panda Express. And those of you that are wondering, it takes over the spot where Pinkberry stood for many years.
I visited this location during the afternoon of Saturday 5/14/2022 at around 5:15pm. Since this was a brand new business, there were a ton of employees working; at least 8 during my visit. This means a ton of training while staff were taking turns making the sandwiches, handling the register, and sweeping the floors. They do have a sizable indoor seating area but no outdoor patio seating. There is also a self-serve fountain drink station as well as a refrigerator with cold canned/bottled drinks.
I ended up ordering a mini size of their popular #2 “Jersey Shore’s Favorite” which includes provolone cheese, ham, and cappacuolo. The standard bread they use is white and I added all the condiments including shredded lettuce, tomato, white onions, pickles, and their signature oils/vinegars that make their sandwiches so delicious. I also ordered a bag of kettle chips and a Stubborn soda to complete my sandwich. The ordering process was simple and efficient as what was expected with a full staff on deck.
Overall, my sandwich was above average and delicious. They definitely did not skimp with the meat as I enjoyed that Jersey flavor that their sandwiches are known for. It’s hard to say if this location will be a money maker so time well tell. Especially since there’s so much competition in the area. But with a high foot traffic area in a popular retail shopping area, I think it should fare well. My rating for the Citrus Heights “Jersey Mike’s Subs”, an above average 4-stars.

I ordered take out and when I got home I looked down and noticed an avocado sticker in the middle of my sandwich. This made me question the quality and cleanliness. I don’t think I’ll be back.

I recently stopped by Jersey Mike’s for a quick bite and had a mixed experience. The food was solid—fresh ingredients, well-made subs, and plenty of options to choose from. Definitely a step up from your average sandwich chain, so I’d give the food 4 stars.
The service, however, was just okay. The staff seemed a bit rushed and not particularly welcoming. They got my order right, but there wasn’t much effort to engage or make the experience pleasant—3 stars for service.
As for the atmosphere, it left a lot to be desired. The place felt cramped, not the cleanest, and a little chaotic with the way orders were handled. It’s fine if you’re just grabbing a sandwich to-go, but not the best spot to sit and enjoy your meal—2 stars for atmosphere.
Overall, if you’re just here for the food, Jersey Mike’s is worth a visit. But don’t expect top-tier service or a great dining environment. 3 stars.

Got a big Kahuna and IT WAS AMAZING! I’m in the trades and usually when i order this at other locations they give attitude about making the sandwhich or say blatantly no (roseville im talking about you)… They actually put meat in the sandwich here, are friendly and didn’t give attitude about making the sandwich. Coming back 100%
