Jersey Mike’s, a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise with more than 2,500 locations open and under development nationwide, has a long history of community involvement and support. Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s serves authentic East Coast-style subs on fresh baked bread – the same recipe it started with over 60 years ago. and it certainly hits the spot when you’re in the mood for a delicious sub
But what really makes a chain sandwich shop better than the rest is the staff
I can’t speak highly enough towards the kindness and customer service that Trevor showed to myself and my son. He’s a young man with a good upstanding character and a hockey fan!
Well, done team!
Philly cheese steak and wrapped it up before I could add any toppings very rude, also didn’t ask if I wanted chips or drink Just rushed me with the total. Probably so they could giggle around some more.
When the franchises opened up I went and was unimpressed with most location’s.
This one is the exception. The staff are well trained and make an attempt to care about the product. It shows.
My issue with the other locations is that they are staffed with teens who could not care less. This reflects in the product.
While a Jersey style sub seems pretty low skill, it’s skilled work to make a “good” or “great” version. f you are from Jersey you know the classic spots that make a great product. The defining factor is that the staff actually care about what they produce.
I hope this location continues to hire people with soft skills and train them thoroughly. It’s the small details, often ratios, that shift the product from edible to enjoyable.
There are some Jersey Mikes locations that are just bad. Sloppy, lazy facsimiles of the original.
I hope this location doesn’t devolve into one of those.
Heading for lunch now. It’s become a welcomed weekly event.
